Mission

Accelerate professional and personal development for women with roots or interests in China through networking support, information exchange and education. Encourage self-awareness and self-confidence among fellow members. Promote Minority Female professionals' role in technology and business organizations. Serve as a bridge between NECINA and Chinese professional women in New England area.

Programs

Footstep Seminar: Invite women at different levels and from diverse professional backgrounds to discuss their career paths and share their experiences. This program seeks to expose members to various career choices and educate them with the challenges faced on different career paths.

Career/Life Development Workshop: Members get together to discuss specific career/life development issues faced by women. Each workshop focuses on one topic and has one or two topic leaders, either volunteers from our members, or guest speakers. The program seeks to foster a peer-coaching environment for members.

Tech exchange Forum: Provide members with a forum to exchange information on industry trend, ask technical questions and host discussions. Closely work with other NECINA SIGs to promote women's participation in NECINA events. This program seeks to provide an information exchange channel for members and empower members with up-to-date technical knowledge.

Networking with fun: Organize social events for fellow members. This program seeks to provide members with networking opportunities in a fun and relaxing atmosphere.

Membership Qualification
