Description
The National Interoperability Field Operations Guide is reference guide for emergency communications technicians and planners. This group is for announcements about availability, corrections, updates, discussions about material to add in future editions, and discussion about content.

P25 as part of the standard mandates analog in the radio. Keeping analog in no way makes the radio more complex or more expensive.

"Fail soft" doesn't necessarily mean that a trunked system has "crapped out" as there are different levels of fail soft on some systems. Gil Bailey
