Hi all
Due to the dry conditions of Canterbury - we are now running the Bush
Railcar on every 1st and 3rd Sunday. It will be running Sunday starting
at 10.30. Come out and say Gidday.
Cheers Darrin
Gents
If what you saw was the shell of an ex-BR car, painted dark green, with
"East Anglia" on the sides, sitting on the modified Dd wagon, then I
would summise that it's another car headed for Hillsidet to reappear as
yet another suburban car for the huddled masses in Auckland. It looked
to me as though someone had already done some preparatory work by
removing the old end doors and window frames.

Hi Peter
Many thanks for the concern - will be all ok now - long story - but
have camera and snapping like a Ja going on the Canterbury Plains
Also mate - lost the password to access the site - all good now.
Darrin
Think that passenger car passed thru Huntly on the Tuesday. Couldnt
see much from where I was but it certainly looked gutted.

Anyone left in this group, or have we all moved on. Sure hope not.
Anyway, anyone got a pict if the sailboot logo that appeared on
Auckland Locos a few years back, and then disappeared.
I know its a loco question, but hey anything to keep the group
happening.

peter

Sorry Gary, Must be crossed net cables some place? I have not lost a
sister, well not since December last. As far as I can recall she was
the only one... I pray.
Just had this nasty flu that's going about, I would say a lot have had
it or are going to. Seems to spread well.

Hi all, been down with the flu for a week, if u get it, please do not
take it lightly.
As for the group and Pictures. anyone managed to dig out any more for
us to see. Even New wagons are interesting.
What I call Rail DYNAMICS, without the wagon or carriage a Locomotive
is just a LOCOMOTIVE right. Wagons do a Train make.
I am currently digging out info on Paerata, Pukekohe, Tuakau and the
railways in that general area.
I will post some my wagon pictures, until you all get totally bored.
Regards
Peter (sick in Pukekohe)
Well how about I be nice and say BOTH. I am sure others would be fine
with seeing them. The group boss here and always wack my behind if its
not.
