There's a January 10 status conference scheduled with District Court Judge Vance. Counsel for the affiliates will request that approximately 43 doctors in 9 states be allowed to hold jury trials in their respective home jurisdictions. The states are Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Minesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, So. Carolina, and Tennessee.
If the doctors are successful, it will mean that things will be slowed down, and removed to a venue which may be more favorable for doctors than the bankruptcy court of Judge Brown.I would think such an outcome would make OCA rather unhappy?
