Dr. Bush's counsel has filed an almost 50 page appeal of the verdict from Judge Brown's court. The appeal alleges that Judge Brown's court erred in several respects, including violating Dr. Bush's right to a jury trial and finding that the relationship with OCA didn't violate applicable Georgia law. (Presumably the entire brief is available on Pacer? I believe the case was filed in the Fifth Circuit, which encompasses both Texas and Louisiana.)
Judge Vance has also reportedly weighed on scheduling matters regarding the cases transferred from Judge Brown's court to her district court. Due to an unusually heavy load of over 700 cases currently on her docket (due in large part to leftover matters from Hurricane Katrina,) and her feeling that each case should be tried individually rather than in groups, it looks like it may be quite awhile before much is resolved.
