In a letter dated December 3, 2007, addressed to District Court Judge the Honorable Sarah S. Vance, Counsel for Defendants Buchman, Bush, Dolan, Girard, Palmisano Sr., Ryan, Summers, Verret, Vignes & Walters Jr., and for Plaintiffs indicate that they have reached "an agreement in principal" to settle the litigation.  The necessary settlement papers for the class action suit are promised "as soon as possible."

 

Since there's no indication on Pacer that the docket has been closed, one would assume that the stipulated settlement is yet to be subitted to Judge Vance's court in New Orleans for her approval.  It will be interesting to see if the Defendants are to suffer any financial or other pain for their questionable management of OCA!
