The next Eldercare Meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 17th
at 11:30 a.m. at PJ's Abbey in Old Town Orange.

We welcome, Isabel Barajasi, Insurance Compliance Officer with the
California Department of Insurance. Isabel will be discussing
insurance and annuity product fraud. Her presentation will cover the
marketing of insurance based products to inappropriate purchasers,
fraudulent sales practices and a detail review of new annuity
suitability testing rules.

Her presentation will include a review of the testings requirements,
procedures, evaluation and suitability analysis documentation that
insurance companies are now required to perform before placing a
purchaser into an annuity.

This information will be very valuable to care managers, financial
planners, CPA's, financial advisors, bookkeepers and attorneys who
assist clients with these matters.
