flyer regarding our next meeting scheduled for Wednesday, June 16 at
the DoubleTree Club Hotel at the Hutton Centre in Santa Ana. The flyer
contains a link to the club's webpage and there is a button for
driving instructions on that page.
The club and hotel is located in the Hutton Centre which is one block
west of the 55 fwy & MacArthur Blvd exit.
Our meeting will be about Hospice Care. It is never an easy situation
when our clients or someone in their family has a terminal illness.
Our speaker, Gordon Brown, will educate us on developing a better
understanding of family crisis management.
Gordon coordinates the education and bereavement services on behalf
of the clientele of Haven Hospice which provides hospice care for the
terminal patient and support for their families. The presentation will
cover the how's and why's of hospice care, how practitioners can be
better prepared to assist families and patients facing a difficult
time in their lives, and how to interact & advise our clients during
these unfortunate times.
This lunch presentation will qualify for 2 hours of CE and contain a
roundtable discussion of future Cal CPA developments, eldercare
committee meetings and upcoming projects.
Lunch is included with presentation.
