The Peoria, Decatur and Evansville Railway, also known as the ol' PD&E, was a railroad that connected Peoria, Illinois with Evansville, Indiana for the last 2 decades of the 19th century before being absorbed by the Illinois Central Railroad System in the early years of the 20th century.
