Hello. My name is Dawn Hunt. I thought I would introduce myself to you all. I have been scheduling about 4 and a half years, and mystery shopping 9. I schedule with Palm Scheduling, and for other companies too. I really enjoy working with shoppers, and am blessed to know all of you. I have to say I am not in on the gossip and bashing. I am doing my job to the best of my ability, and don't get involved in negative matters.I surround myself with positive, fun people. Many people like to beat a dead horse!!!!! I really believe in praying for your enemies because if we do, we will be blessed!!!!! I have no room in my heart for bitterness and retaliation. With that being said, I want to say I really like the staff Cheryl has. They are a great group of gals. I am thankful for the work. I hope to get to know all of you better. I wish you all a good day. Thank you Dawn Hunt

I am truly sorry about all the ruckus my site has caused.
My original 3mom site was a retail storefront, however I decided to change my
direction after my shopping experience.
When I started building the site, my intentions were to market this to my local
market in Springfield, MO. I was going to advertise to people that would like to
get into mystery shopping, but had obstacles to overcome and didn't know where
to begin. I was going to give them the books, software, forms, on site seminars,
everything I have to offer and teach them to become excellent shoppers. The
site was not intended for current mystery shoppers, as much as new shoppers who
needed help with things such as writing skills, professionalism, introduction to
customer service, etc. My information is packed full of enough information that
they could become mystery shopping company owners themselves after studying the
material and shopping for several companies to gain experience. I did not intend
to solicit business from my friends on Volition.
A little bit about myself. I am a mom to 3 boys, Nathan, Jon and Wes. Wes has
diabetes and needs my attention much more than my other two boys, so I am
striving to make a living so that I can continue to stay at home with them. I
started mystery shopping so I could do that. I would like to make my information
so valuable that anyone in my position can become a successful mystery shopper
with this information. I may not have been mystery shopping for a large amount
of time, but I have breathed mystery shopping for the last year. I have studied,
shopped & became familiar with the industry. I have visited every mystery
shopping site on the internet, I am sure, as I have spent countless hours
pouring through everything I can get my hands on. I am also an experienced
speaker & trainer from other positions I have held. I think I am well qualified
for teaching.
I will continue to sell my book, because I think it is valuable. What I have
done, though, is move the information to the back of the site, and the free
stuff more towards the front. That way, anyone can go there without feeling as
if I am just out to make a buck from every site visitor I have.
I am NOT out to rip anyone off. I am an honest person. I honestly do not think
my information is over priced. I have the option, in the future, to have the
training manual reviewed and to have those opinions posted to the public.
As for the spelling mistakes. I am still in the middle of building the site. I
have scrambled around to make the changes on the site to suit everyone & am
still proofreading ALL the material.

Please feel free to e-mail me and I will be happy to answer any questions you
may have.
Thank you,
Alesia

Quite frankly I am appalled at the personal attacks and unfounded
slander towards by business ethics and my web site.
Let me state up front here, that Palm, Cheryl, Julie, Ace is NOT
making money from my web site. I am the proud owner of 3mom.
Do I schedule for Palm Scheduling services? YES, I was given the
opportunity to learn scheduling from the best, although I have only
scheduled a handful of shops thus far, I am learning. I choose to
learn something everyday, from the people I come in contact with.
My site is designed to provide a free service to all mystery shoppers
and yes if one wants training it is available the entire idea is A
choice. You choose the training or you choose not.
My web site consist of:
Free info on business, business management, business forms to
numerous to mention, free training books, training articles, links to
regional mystery shopping businesses, links to numerous forums, free
tools for mystery shoppers to use, and on and on and on.

The two manuals are in single space 12pt type over 400 pages.
The software comes with over 2gb of information.
My seminars consist of a two-day course on the entire spectrum of
mystery shopping and running your business.
Each day of training runs from 9am to 5pm (16 hours of training in a
class room environment)
I also have several guest speakers.
Live guidance upon request, And it goes on.
I have 20 years of seminar experience in one form or another.
To bash the price is unfounded and foolish.
. What makes a good mystery shopper is an investigative and
inquisitive attitude.
All those that made negative comments looked at an average of 2 pages
on my site. My site has over 35 pages (modern technology tells me
your computer address, what pages you looked at and even how long you
stayed at each page. Average time those that made negative comments
spent was 6 seconds)

I do thank you as I did gain some knowledge and found truly who were
true supporters and those who only gave mouth service.

If you truly want to be successful, stop being a follower, stop
responding without facts, our industry has enough of this garbage.
Make up your own mind based upon your own research. The true nature
of a professional mystery shopper. WHAT I OFFER IS NOT MANDATORY,
IT'S YOUR CHOICE, WHAT THIS COUNTRY IS BASED ON, FREE CHOICE
If you have any further questions, feel free to e-mail me privately
using the above link.

To my understanding they have made this website for problems when they arise.  They have been mixing problems with the job postings and it was all too much.  I believe that is what this is going to be for.  I personally hope so.  We do need to know when a company is not taking care of the shoppers.  But not in the middle of the job listings.  I hope it works out.  It is new and has not been fine tuned yet.   If you hear different let me know.

Ok, now that confuses me. Volition has all this stuff for mystery shopping and a forum for it and everything and you are a scheduler for such shops, so how are you NOT supposed to advertise on the site?? I guess I can KINDA understand, but why not scratch each others backs?? As a moderator/owner of several groups, we help to advertise other peoples groups on ours and in return, they advertise for us. Why not help each other spread the word rather than arguing over it??

I find this hilarious, since Ray is constantly saying I am promoting

I think that if it is a fair question, then I would see no reason why it would not be allowed. I know that with this TDavis situation, there are alot of people out there who have never worked for PSS and who just really don't know what is going on and are now weary. I think this forum will help them to understand and hopefully clear up any misgivings they may have.

Have a good nite!!

You state:
This group has been set up as a feedback forum for Palm Scheduling Services
mystery shoppers/merchandisers/demonstrators. This is where we address all PSS
concerns and issues.

I have an issue with the ethics of your schedulers and the use of these Yahoo
groups in the past. Is this going to be an open forum where anything will be
discussed or will it be like Lila's Lounge where you bash other people and post
comments from them out of context and then do not allow them to post a reply or
rebuttal.

Lila Francis, a PSS employee runs Lila's Lounge. Her forum is not open to all
opinions or any that disagree with her. If fact people who disagree with her
elsewhere are likely to get slammed in her Lounge and will be blocked from
posting a reply. She has used Lila's Lounge to post untruths and misstatements.

So what is this forum for, actually answering questions or just so you and
people who agree with you can talk to themselves.

(Yes, I am still very hurt by the things she said about me and will not let it
rest until I can post a reply there to what she said.)

ciao,
Ray Sola

I would like to know how to post a message or chat
regarding concerns because I have some but am not sure
how to address them on the internet

Hello everyone, I have decided to create a PSS mystery
shopper/merchandiser forum, where we can address questions,
concerns and issues without deletion or censorship!
While membership is not restricted, ALL messages will ALWAYS be
moderated. I am the only moderator!
I welcome all of you!

Cheryl,

I just wanted to say congratulations on deciding to put this forum
up where shoppers can get their questions answered and any concerns
addressed straight from you.

A place where they can say what they feel and not have to worry
about being edited.

Angela
