Position:  Two ASP.NET Contractors
Location:  Phila. Suburbs or Work from Home
Duration:  6 months
Salary:    Depends on Experience

Supply Chain Management solution in a Web application.  Will design an
application for the web, which will track on the supply chain from product
concept to delivery using ASP.NET. The application will allow users along the
various phases of the supply chain (design, customer service, purchase order and
delivery) to see where product is at any given time during the supply chain
process. It will be a transaction-based solution as opposed to a read only.

The data resides on and will be extracted from DB2 on the AS/400 as well as the
SQL server.  The contractor must have strong database experience. Of course DB2
experience would be preferred, but in any case they have to know database design
well to be able to do this project, so that the technology will be well
optimized. The finished product must look very professional and have ease of use
by the users. They do have a visual prototype.

Length of the project will be determined by skill of the contractors. Estimated
length on time – 6 months.  Bill rate depends on depth of experience. Client
wants fast delivery without sacrificing the quality of the product.  Client has
tested a number of off the shelf products and has determined that they would
have to be so heavily modified that it makes sense too develop their own
product.
Proven supply chain experience would be very important, as would the database
knowledge.
