We are an appraiser’s association in Northern California that participates in this forum to discuss topical issues affecting our industry, to provide help for our fellow members, to discuss issues of mutual interest and to share tips, techniques and ideas. Our main objective at the inception of this forum, is a group wide discussion of the Home Valuation Code of Conduct and current legislation affecting appraisers, our concerns about it and our response to it.

General, Certified, Licensed, Trainee and retired appraisers are welcome for their knowledge, insights or questions. A consensus of our peers is available to each of us if we describe our situation in enough detail to encourage meaningful responses. Mutual support, help and guidance can be found here.

Participate or observe in silence. Send private emails to me if you are shy or do not want to post questions in public. I will post them without identifying you and you can benefit from the responses of the group.

When being admitted to the forum, introduce yourself to the group. Give your location, specialties, if any, professional goals, etc.

Membership is limited at this time to appraisers and, on a case by case basis, applicants who demonstrate that their participation will be beneficial to the group.
