Description

This group is to discuss the railroads that have served, or currently serve, York County, Pennsylvania.

This will include historical discussions, tracing old railroad rights-of way, former freight and passenger stations, railroads and their equipment, locomotives and rolling stock, and the industries served.

It will also include current rail operations in the area, including train sightings, breaking rail related news, railfan spots, and other railfanning information.

Discussions about railroads that have served, or currently serve, Adams County, Pennsylvania are also welcome.
