Hmmm, maybe I'll try and get up that way the next full moon. Not that it won't be cloudy, but I'm an optimist.

Yes, weekdays since Monday, June 1. This Monday at 0145hrs, Tuesday at 0430hrs, last night I didn't bother looking at the clock, although there were quite a bit of extra horn blasts at the 116/Ambau Rd double x-ing ;-)Speculation is that the YRC schedule is off since the CSX schedule is off due to track work on the 'Dutch Line' West of Hanover.Ted G

They're running at night?----- Original Message -----From: Ted GunzelmanTo: YAHOO Group ; YAHOO GroupSent: Tuesday, June 23, 2009 4:51 PMSubject: [RRofYork] York Railway: Follow-up to post on June 3
Does anyone know why the YRC RJ2 local continues to run in the middle of the night, arriving at Porter's anywhere from 0145 hrs to 0430hrs? A brief tour of the line East to York PA did not show any more track work being done... I hope the night runs end soon. I hate being awakened by such an awful horn! A nice 5-chime would be more acceptable ;-)Ted G
