RailroadData's weekly links update is back online!

After numerous problems with Yahoo last fall, I gave up on trying to publish this list for a while. Lately they seem to have resolved the problems and so I'm going to try it again. Hopefully it will work better this time. I apologize for the interruption.

For those of you who are new to the list, here's what it's about. Approximately once a week, we'll publish a list of the new links that have been added to the RailroadData.com's link directory and search engine. We'll also fill you in on happenings at the other RailroadInfo.com websites. If you'd like to have your website added to our directory, please visit http://www.railroaddata.com/cgi-bin/links/add.cgi

RailroadForums.com site upgrades - RailroadForums.com has undergone quite a few changes since we last published this newsletter. We've added a photo gallery for members to post their photos. It now has over 1,500 photos, sorted by category for easier browsing.

The forum itself has a new look as well. We've added the VBportal system to the forum, creating a new start page. The home page is located at http://www.railroadforums.com/index.php?s= and provides an overview of the forum. It offers a daily photo, the latest photo gallery uploads, railroad news, polls, recent discussions and more. The new look has been very popular and we're seeing lots of new members. The upgrades also allow the forum to operate a little faster than it did previously.

Membership in RailroadForums.com is totally free. There is no charge for registration and there are no monthly frees. We don't have "premium memberships" either, everyone has access to all of the features.
