Senior Manager, Human Resources-0901564
Description
The Sr. Manager of Human Resources will help establish, implement and promote
best practices for talent
acquisition, succession planning, and other elements of the HR platform for
Wyndham
Hotels and Resorts managed properties. This includes efforts to
support recruiting for Executive Committee roles, building bench strength,
administration of talent review for property leaders, periodic review of SOPs
and policies, and other miscellaneous projects and initiatives.

Empower HRDs to effectively recruit for all
positions in their hotels. Directly recruit talent for EC roles by
leveraging Taleo as well as our internal network of long term industry
professionals to assure we conduct cost effective searches. Ensure that
all new EC members receive a comprehensive onboarding program. Coordinate
with WVO to share talent bank information.

Develop and recommend programs and updates to HR
SOPs as appropriate to reflect the changing human resources and legal
environment and to ensure internal parity and external competitiveness with
similar industries and markets; monitor and track the effectiveness of
established programs.

Assist with all new openings and conversion
projects by supporting the regional directors of HR in all aspects of new
property transitions.

Coordinate and track the performance management
process for managed hotels to maximize effectiveness of annual reviews and to
encourage the mid-year review process. Utilize a talent review process
for EC roles to establish an effective succession planning tool.

Assist regional directors of HR as needed.

Partner with Learning and Development to promote
and sustain the Count On Me! culture and Committees in each
hotel. Serve as corporate point person for the recognition
program.

Will work independently to screen candidates to
move forward in the interview process; will make recommendations on
changes/initiatives that will strengthen the HR function's support of the
managed
properties; and may provide guidance to field HR team on implementation of
programs and policies.
Qualifications

· BA/BS degree in human resources, business, or
related field is required, Advanced degree and/or SPH/PHR certification a plus.
· 8 years of human resources or an equivalent
combination of formal education, training, and experience..
· Property level HR experience a plus

Strong interpersonal skills, interviewing skills,
written and oral communication and ability to multi-task
effectively.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and
manage multiple concurrent and complex projects and to work effectively and
efficiently under pressure to meet required deadlines. Ability to quickly
establish collaborative and trusted relationships with all constituents and to
effectively communicate to all levels of the organization and the hotels.
