Thanks for the complement Gentlemen. It's difficult to describe the
procedures for producing that photo. However I did use some colored
gels, mirrors, and a fog filter on the lens to produce that early
evening fog that you would find as the ground cooled. Of course a few
years of working with this sort of thing helped a little. It was shot
with a Fuji 680 film camera and was shot about the same time I did the
series of ads for SHS's steam engine. It's supposed to depict a modern
time period where the Challenger is moving a fan trip on the main while
a UP merchandise train has just been given clearance out of the hole.

And yes Bill, we have very tough membership requirements--how do you
think I got in! Of course we have continuous hazing thereafter! A
country club membership is easy compared to our regulations! LOL!
