Our mission is to preserve, restore, and expand Amtrak passenger service along Amtrak's original transcontinental route. Our goals are for daily service, restoration of service to Phoenix, and restoration of passenger train service between New Orleans and Florida.

If this were Aug and not Nov we would have already evacuated because Ida would be picking up strength as she crosses the Gulf.  Baldwin County and Escambia
