This is a railfan group for the Saint Lawrence and Atlantic and other railroads of northern New England and Eastern Canada.
Join us and contribute--we're not one of those fussy, exclusive groups where you need worry about being chastised for being "off-topic," so long as material is railroad-related. We WANT to hear from members, and will properly appreciate all legitimate railfan contributions--questions, observations, reminiscences, historical data, explorations of old rights-of-way, whatever. Besides StL&A, MMA (former Bangor & Aroostook), NBSR, and any other RRs of the region, past or present, are fair game. The group name is indicative of the general region north of Mass. and east of the Great Lakes, as well as the particular railroad so named. We don't want to exclude anyone's favorite railfan interests in the region, and we do not mind sharing information with other railfan groups. We are dedicated to the free exchange and sharing of railfan information with ALL railfans, and are opposed to its monopolization by small "exclusive" cliques. Have fun!
