Hello Campers!

Just 14 days left until Scrap Camp South! We are so excited to see
you!

If you still owe a balance for camp please let me know if you are
planning to mail or just pay at camp. If you have friends that
have not registered please remind them to do so ASAP. We ONLY have
EIGHT spots left!


Camp Survival Guide:
1. Pack your camp gear which should include:
Clothing (dress in layers) and toiletries-towel and washcloth as
well as bedding (a sleeping bag works great)
Scrapping supplies
Extra money for shopping at the camp stores!
Snacks and beverages you want to share on the snack table (remember
you get door prize tickets for these!)
Any items that you want to sell or trade.
Mardi Gras outfit or accessories for dress up contest Saturday after
dinner.

2. Registration begins at 4:30pm. Upon your arrival at Camp
Calvin Convention Center you will need to stop at the Convention
Center Office. The first building on the right when you turn into
Camp Calvin. There will be a registration table in the office and
you will be able to get your room keys from the front desk at the
same time. Make sure to tell them how many snacks you
brought so you can redeem one ticket per each snack,
and mega tickets for homemades and 12 packs! You will find
out more about the mega tickets laterļ

2. Take your camp gear (which should include a towel, washcloth
and bedding if you are staying in the dorms) to your room and get
set up! We recommend making up your bed so that you can just crash
when you come back late at night!

3. Crop room opens at 5pm SHARP! You can not get in before 5pm
because our counselors and store need a
chance to get set up ! Head to the Crop Room and find your
table! There will be a camp counselor available
to help you find your spot. Sit down and unpack and get ready
to spend the weekend preserving your precious
memories!!

4. If you brought snacks to share on the snack table please
take those to the snack area.

5. Take a moment to read through the Scrap Camp South Program
to check the schedule of events and the games.

6. We will be doing a very special Charity Raffle this camp. We
will be selling raffle tickets for $1, 6 for $5, or 13 for $10 to go
to help my son, Cameron¡¦s, special needs school. The Joseph Sams
School is a local special needs school here in the community, in
Fayetteville, GA, and it helps lots of wonderful children get the
education and care that they need. They are private, so do not get
state funds, so we do lots of fundraisers, to help keep the cost as
low as possible, so that ALL families could afford to send their
child there, if they need the special, individulalized care! You

7. I am so excited about Friday nights make and take session!
The counselors met to put together the make and take project last
weekend. We were all so excited about how cute they turned out!
Plan to attend the Friday night make and take! You will get all of
the supplies you need in your goody bag. You will need to bring a
trimmer, pencil, adhesive (glue stick AND double sided tape
recommended), hole punch, ruler and scissors.

8. Since we have so many new campers this time I want to take a
moment to remind you to look on the camp program when you get to
camp. One of our most popular activities at camp is the Scrap Camp
badges. We have lots of fun techniques highlighted for you to give
a try on your layouts. As you complete a layout using one of the
listed techniques you get a ticket in the door prize drawing as well
as a cute badge! Complete all 20 badges and you will enter the
Scrap Camp Queens Club! We have had several ladies who are QUEENS
EVERY year at Scrap Camp in WV!!
