Hi Scrap Camp South Divas:)

K, here are some questions that come to my mind, so wanted to go
thru them with everybody:

1. The weather is supposed to be unseasonably warm, up to mid to
high 60s, ON FRI, SAT is supposed to be cold and windy. Therefore I
am thinking that pants and shorts should do well on Fri. Sat you
will probably need long sleeves/sweats. Just make sure that if you
tend to be more cold or warm, that you take that into account.
Layers is always helpful. It will get colder at night. We are also
in the "country", so that kind of makes it colder, too.

2. I wanted to make sure that everybody had my cell phone number, so
that you can call me if you have any questions, or need anything. It

3. I also wanted to make sure that everybody had the Camp Calvin
info, too, so that you can contact them, if the directions do not
work for you, if you need more specific directions. Their website
is: http://www.calvincenter.org. Their phone number is: (770)946-
4276 Office.

4. I also wanted to let you know that Camp Calvin has said that I
can check you in, rather than you having to stop at the front
office. Therefore, to get to Unit 5, I will give you directions as
to which lodges we are staying in, and you can also find this info
on their website.

~*~You will enter the camp at the sign that says Camp Calvin Center
on Woolsey Road. You will start to go into a right turn, and pass a
building on your left. Keep going. You will then pass Geneva Lodge
on your right, and see the Office on the right, keep going. The road
will narrow and become ONE WAY! Please be careful. There is not much
traffic, and once we are back there, there is no reason to leave, so
you should not pass us coming back out. The road will go around a
right turn, over a bridge, and over a lake. Once you are over the
bridge, you will turn to the left and proceed to Unit Five. It is
the second inlet on the left. Proceed to the back of the horseshoe.
We are the three cabins on the left. The first one is the Crop Room,
and the middle two are our bunk rooms. You can stow your stuff in
your room prior to 5, if you like, but we are asking that you not
enter the crop room until 5, so that we can be ready for our awesome
campers:) We will have room assignments on the door, so that it will
be easy to tell which cabin you are in. BTW, there are 6 bottom
bunks in each cabin, so everybody will have a bottom bunk:)

I will not be online anymore today, but if you need me, you can
reach me on my cell. I have T-Mobile, and I got and made a phone
call when I was there. I am praying that we all have service there!

BTW, DON'T forget your snacks for door prize tickets, Mardi Gras
attire, favorite scrappin LO, stuff for yard sale table, and your
camera! We have some fun, fun, fun things planeed girls! I cannot
wait! woohoo!

Here are DIRECTIONS to the center:

The Calvin Center is located in Clayton County, Georgia, 45 minutes
south of Downtown Atlanta.

Coming from the North:
Take 1-75 south of Atlanta to Exit 235. This will be the exit for
Highways 19 & 41 and will be heading towards Griffin. (This road is
also called Tara Blvd.) Go about 15 miles south on Hwy. 19/41 to a
flashing caution light. Turn right on to Upper Woolsey Road. (If you
come to the Atlanta Motor Speedway you have gone too far.) We are
located about 5 miles on the left.

Coming from the South on 1-85:
Exit at Hwy. 34 (this will be the Newnan-Peachtree City exit).
Follow Hwy. 34 to Hwy. 54 and follow signs to Fayetteville. In
Fayetteville, take GA Hwy. 85 south to Hwy 92 South. Go to Woolsey
and turn left on Hampton Road at the Chevron Station. We are about 3
miles on the right.

Coming from the South on 1-75:
Take 1-75 north to Exit 218. Turn left on to Hwy. 20 west. Just over
the interstate turn right onto Hwy. 81. Follow Hwy. 81 all the way
to Hwy. 19/41 (about 8 miles and after a zig-zag in the road). Cross
Hwy. 19/41. Road changes name to Upper Woolsey Road. We are about 5
miles on left.
