I just wanted to take a moment of your time to explain what is
happening
with my woodturning business. I am in the process of changing the
business name from Sunrise Woodcrafts to Seafoam Woodturning
Studio,
hence the notice you should have received from Yahoo! Groups that
I had
changed the name of this newsletter.
You will no doubt be wondering why I would take such a drastic
step.
Well, its purely a marketing decision. When I started Sunrise
Woodcrafts
back in 1995, I planned on having to do more than just
woodturning to
make a living. As things turned out (no pun intended) that hasn't
happened. All I do now is woodturning. No more carving. No more
joinery.
So I decided it is time for a change. The new name has been
choosen to
give a clearer idea of what the business is all about, and where
it is
located. This was primarily driven by my tourist market, but I
think in
the long term it will benefit my internet market too. I am
currently
working on a new website, seafoamwoodturning.com which should be
open
for business early in the new year. I will be sure to announce
when it is
ready, but in the meantime may I wish you all the very best for
the
holiday season.
