For those of you who couldn't attend or watch, here's a brief summary.
The Council today voted unanimously for something that is a little
murky. Their agreement was, first, that COA staff should remove the
curb islands. But they did not approve the staff-proposed striping
plan. Staff had clearly not taken account of its shortcomings for
neighbors. Instead, Council directed that alternatives be considered
and a revised plan be presented for the Dec 1 meeting. But exactly how
this is to happen was not defined. Nor is it entirely clear when the
CIs would go, but the assumption seems to be that a new plan would be
decided first.
