Re: Fix that Broken Appliance, Don't Replace It

-

The lady said that she uses a liquid detergent that she puts in while
the machine fills and also adds bleach in the water when filling .
Then adds cloths. She does use City water . She did say that
sometimes she puts the bleach in the top of the agitator and on
several occasions washed a small load . So the softener must have
splashed against the spin basket and left a ring at this time{ It
is good to know what Mike said "The dirt ring is because of the GE
having a plastic tub, Other tub materials don't have this problem
only plastic." Well she cleaned the ring off and washes with a larger
fill and load{ per your instructions} and says that the ring is
gone. I want to thank each of you for your help and GE should thank
you because she thinks a lot more of GE now. Thanks Yevi
