MPI can convert open old projects, including 2.x.
I didn't do that since very long but it should work, you could give
it a try :

Found a way! I installed SC 3.0 on an eMac running MacOS 9.2.something, used that to convert the project to SC3.0, and then SC4.6 on a MacBook Pro running OS...
