I accept your point - but in the general scheme of things Crossrail is a small
operator. It could be that they use Class 436 in multiple until they an get
financially strong enough to purchase Internaional capable locomotivess. It is
assumed that their operation over BLS is via Kandersteg. I would add that they
do appear to be operating the class 436 locomotives intensively as they appear
to operate 2 return trips over the BLS daily.
