Sorry to repeat once again: Re 10/10 is an "official" desgination,
used by SBB for semi-permanently coupled Re 4/4 + Re 6/6. But there is
no such thing as an Re 18/18. However, since the restriction of a
maximum of 12 axles under III-d-MU was cancelled, it is not uncommon to
see any random MU-couplings of Re 4/4 II, Re 4/4 III and Re 6/6. This is
done to save train paths (slots) for empty locomotives that must be
moved to Erstfeld, Bellinzona or any other place. And, BTW, this also
saves money for SBBC.
