America. We will discuss the the foundation horses such as the Darley Arabian and the enigmatic Royal Mares, and also learn about the early breeders and their contributions. If you
like digging around in old books and chasing
riddles like "What color was the Darcy Yellow Turk?" then this list is for you.
We will not tolerate commercialization of this list.

Mahmoud was retired from stud duty after the 1958 breeding season, so the answer is 1959, assuming he wasn't totally infertile at the end. He died 18

Hi all: I seem to recall that the 1933 grey stallion *Mahmoud (*Blenheim II - Mah Mahal) died in 1962, but does anyone know when his last crop was foaled?
