Welcome to the T&S Branch. A group devoted to the disscussion and history of the Troy and Schenectady Branch\Railroad between Schenectady and Troy New York. The T/S Started out as a comercial venture by the City of Troy to develop growth and to compete with the Mohawk and Hudson Railroad. In 1853 it was consolidated into the New York Central's empire.
