There are 2 kinds of bounces!

1) The 'Soft' bounce
. typically this is an overflowing email box
. the user can't be contacted by email because the mailbox
is full
. check the following URL for bouncing status

> If you have been alerted that you are cut off because

> request reactivation.

Reactivation is a temporary fix (a waste of the Moderator's
time) IF the member doesn't take care of the underlying
cause i.e. emptying an overflowing email box.

2) The 'Hard' bounce
There are 2 basic 'Hard bounces':

a) The 'discontinued account' (or 'unknown user') -
the member no longer has an email account at the address listed.
. Yahoo removes these members after a couple of reactivation
requests.
_ _ _ members can resubscribe through a new or active account

b) The 'blocked account(s)' - If this is an isolated incident,
obviously the Moderator can't contact the member by private
email. If several members are 'blocked' by a single ISP, the
Moderator will post a message alerting the affected members.
. However, after 3 reactivation attempts, the member will be
removed from this group.
