Description

Our mission is to accelerate Texas's economic growth and enhance the quality of life enjoyed by its people by advancing the development of rail service to its full potential as a carrier of freight and passengers. We have been early supporters for the creation of a Rail Division within the Texas Department of Transportation and the development of dynamic rail service on the federally designated South Central and Gulf Coast High Performance Rail Corridors.

Texas Rail Advocates hosts the 6th Annual Southwestern Rail Conference January 28 and 29, 2010 at the Magnolia Hotel in Dallas. Details at www.swrailconf.org

Texas Rail Advocates is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and welcomes your personal and financial support for better rail service in Texas and the Southwest.
