Hi,
I've uploaded new EA in the SpyTrader folder.
I think you know that Automated Trading Champ 2008 started this month.
So with SpyTrader you can copy trades from favorite participants and
make some money.

Just place TradeSpy on chart of master terminal(MQ) of some participant.
For example, input FileCopyTo should be:
c:\Program Files\Interbank FX Trader 4\experts\files\
To work SpyMode should be 1. Also you should enter and remember File
Name (ex.SpyTest.txt).

Than you should attach SpyTrader EA to client terminal(IBFX).
All EA inputs are described in the source code.

Don't hesitate with any questions please.

Regards,
Igor

Hi Igor,

It was possible for me to send a test message with my Metatrader
account.
That's working well.
But the newest Labtrend1 with email alert didn't work good yet. In
the Metatrader Journal I see that Labtrend1 indicator did sent the
email correctly, but I didn't receive the mail in my Outlook.

testing Email in tools/Options/Email Test button was working okay. I
did receive the test mail.

Thanks for the great work Igor. I hope you can help me with this
problem.

greeting again!

Tjalling

Hi,
I just finished v4.1 with email options.
So now you'll receive alerts on your email:
- on bar opening (EmailAlertMode= 1)
- first signal (EmailWarningMode= 1 and TimeBeforeClose= 0)
ex. LabTrend1 SELL: First Warning.
- alert on 'x' time before barclose (EmailWarningMode= 1 and
TimeBeforeClose> 0)
ex. LabTrend1 SELL: Warning 3.00 min before closing.

Please test this version.

Igor

Dear Igorad,

I've a question about labtrend1. I'm using _v4
I don't know if version 3 is better.

I hope you can attach email alert on it.

What would be great (but I don't know if it is possible) is if you can
choose from the next options:
- email alert on bar close (on/off)
- email alert on first signal (on/off)
- email alert on 'x' time before barclose if dot exists.

The last feature would be nice, but I can imagine it is too difficult.

Thanks again for letting me in to the forum. I am very busy with
designing a setup for an EA based on Labtrend, but I m not ready at
this moment because of the exact entry and exit timing.I hope I can
inform you shortly.

Greetings!

Hi,
Hurst channel is based on so-called centered MA.
CMA is the shifted SMA on half of period.
So the distance between last bar of solid line and current bar is the
result of Fourier extrapolation too.

Igor

Thanks a lot for this brilliant indicator! However, it seems to me
that there's a problem with the option BarsBack: when I put it equal
to zero, then there is still some shift back of the indicator with
respect to the current bar; or, strictly speaking, in such a case the
indicator does not work - paint the solid stable lines - for the last
few bars (in opposite to PolyFitBands, where the option works
properly). Thanks once again; regards, Wojtek

Hi,
I've uploaded 2 new versions of PolyFit tools:
- PolyFitLine_v1 (instead of PolyFitMA)
- PolyFitBands_v2.
Both indicators have new option - BarsBack.
So with this parameter you can move PolyFitLine(or bands) on any number
bars back. I think it shoilb be very useful especially for your
researches.
Also I've added LabTrendZigZag_v1.2 which is based on LabTrend1
indicator + my universal algorithm for ZigZags. With this ZZ you can
calculate cycle periods(in bars) and differences between pivots(in pips).

Hi Barry,

As you can see the Predictor's line leads the main line because the
momentum(or double momentum) is added to the main line. Also it's the
main reason of overshooting. You can change the Predictor's amplitude
by means of PredictMult value(0...1).

How to use this indicator:
-Try to apply Signal line to the Predictor (SignalMode=1) and you'll
receive leading signal for turning points.
-Try to compare PolyFitPredictor with PredictMode=1 and PredictMode=2.
With the last you receive earlier signal.

More info about this technique you can find here
http://www.mesasoftware.com/Seminars/PREDICT.ppt

Important: I've uploaded fixed version of PolyFitPredictor (v1.1).

Best Regards,
Igor

Hi Igorad,

Thanks for your new PolyFitPredictor.  I have looked at it on a chart and I see that it has a yellow line, a green line and a dashed red line which look like 3 MA’s.

I also see that the yellow line can lead the closing price of the current bar –  if price is going up, the yellow line will eventually be above the close of the current bar, unlike MA’s.  This means that late in a trend it points towards future price, but at tops and bottoms it overshoots.

I’m not sure how I would use it - have you given thought to trading rules for it?

Barry

Hi,
I think each trader dreams about some predictive indicator, besides it
should be smoothed and go before price(or main line).
So I've decided to develop something which could meet these
requirements.
Please try to use my new tool - PolyFitPredictor.
This indicator has Predictor line (yellow by default) with following
formula:
- for 1st Order(PredictMode=1):
Predictor = Poly + Mult*(Poly - Poly[1])
- for 2nd Order(PredictMode=2):
the same formula but for Predictor instead Poly,

where Mult(PredictMult) - Amplitude Multiplier(0...1)

Also in the indicator you can find Signal(Trigger) line which can be
applied to Poly (SignalMode=0) or Predictor(SignalMode=1).

To Agustin:
Sorry I have not any experience with Fisher_Yur4ik_v2 and Waddah Attar
Explosion, but I know 1st is wrong coded indicator, 2nd is combination
of MACD and Standard Deviation with some controversial points.

CCI is one of the most popular indicators and I know that Strategic
Swiss Trading System by Chuck Le Beau uses CCI(20) with triggers at
170/-170 as main signal without any other filters
(http://www.traderclub.com/systems_strategic.htm).

Best Regards,
Igor
