WORDS The Wisconsin Organization for Documentation Specialists (WORDS) was established in 1981 to allow technical communicators in southeastern Wisconsin the opportunity to network, learn, and grow as professionals.
Our members include area companies, institutions of learning, and individuals. Membership costs $50 per year, per organization, and we hold meetings on the third Wednesday of alternate months. Meetings begin at 8 a.m. and include a continental breakfast, time for networking, a brief business meeting, and a topical panel discussion or lecture.
