With the opening of registration for the Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC) last week, we would like to try and make a clear distinction between being a stakeholder and being registered as a member of the SAC.
The WREGIS Working Group (WREGIS-WG) is an electronic forum for all parties interested in the development of WREGIS, otherwise referred to as "stakeholders," to communicate. To become a member of this list-serve and receive general communications about the ongoing development of WREGIS, send a blank e-mail to: WREGIS-WG-subscribe@yahoogroups.com and follow the directions you receive in response. The Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC) is the official stakeholder advisory body that will provide input to the WREGIS Committee, the official governing board of the active WREGIS organization. You must register for the SAC and, depending on eligibility, will be assigned membership and voting rights only after receipt and approval of the registration form WREGIS-SAC-1. Complete registration instructions and the WREGIS-SAC-1 form can be found at: http://www.westgov.org/wieb/wregis/sacregform.html.
