"The Western Renewable Energy Generation Information System (WREGIS) Program shall be organized and operated through a Board committee pursuant to section 7.7.2 of the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) Bylaws.  The name of the committee shall be the WREGIS Committee. All of the power and authority of the WREGIS Committee shall derive from the WECC Board and shall be subject to the requirements of section 6.12 of the WECC Bylaws. Actions of the WREGIS Committee shall be consistent with the purposes and obligations agreed to by the California Energy Commission (CEC), the Western Governors’ Association (WGA) (jointly the "Founding Sponsors") and WECC relating to operation of the WREGIS Program at WECC."
