Thanks Jonathan. What is a remarkable achievement and congratulations to
Geoff and the teams at Tenterden and Wittersham Road.
I've attached a photo of Wkm 6603 in 2007 in my Photos album at:

I can see I shall have to make a return visit to see the restored vehicle.

An update on the restoration from Geoff Crouch:
"The timescale has been revised down from 2-3 years to 3 - 6 months and the
re-build has passed the half way stage in just eight weeks.
A new frame was built at our Carriage & Wagon works at Tenterden,
transported to Wittersham Road, our base, where it was reunited with its
wheels.
By Friday 3rd July, the Ford engine had been installed and both end panels
were in place. All metals have been primed with the appropriate primer and
undercoated. We shall be installing the roof and brakes on Friday 10th July
and await a quote from a "professional" to install a new wiring loom and
guages, exhaust and petrol tank.
When these tasks have been completed, the floor and seats (already cut to
size) will be installed prior to the finishing layers of paint.
Costs to date? Less than £300"
