Good evening all, For those of you living near enough, our Type 17 trolley in un rebuilt condition (minus the roof) will be taking part in the National Velocipede rally to be held at the Kingsley and Froghall Station on the Churnet Valley Railway on Sunday next 12th July. We hope it manages to make it that far (5 1/2 miles each way) under its own power. We have tweaked the timing, taken out a in-line fuel filter which we had put in as initial crud blocker and she now runs perfectly on one cylinder (well sort of). We think we have a duff spark plug in the second cylinder and so we are hoping to replace that before the weekend and have a spare just in case we manage to oil it up.
Hopefully she will appear on U-Tube shortly after for those who can't make it to see it live.
