Our HR Information Systems department is currently seeking two highly skilled persons for the position of Sr. HRIS Analyst. In this position you will be part of the team responsible for the upgrade of our current PeopleSoft HRMS 8.3 to PeopleSoft 8.9 with core HR, Benefits Administration and Payroll. You may work on a variety of projects such as implementing online enrollment for Job Events, Absence Management module, and testing software.
Under general direction, the Sr. HRIS Analysts will work with business users to define requirements and specifications for process improvements, system modification, fixes and upgrades. The analyst will create the project plan, define testing strategy and prepare test plans appropriate for the changes being made and will work with the business users to perform and coordinate testing and resolve issues encountered through testing. You will also be responsible for the development of procedures, training plans and materials for end-users. The Sr. HRIS Analyst may also be responsible for developing queries and reports, and the coordination of modification and implementation of desktop tools and software.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have 3+ years of expert level desktop and automated user information systems experience in a business environment
- Prefer experience with PeopleSoft HRMS system including Payroll, Human Resources, or Benefits Administration, 8.x
- Functional knowledge of Human Resources, Benefits, Employment/Recruitment, or Payroll processes, procedures and practices is highly desirable
- Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Must be able to demonstrate training ability, strong presentation skills and the ability to interface with all functions and levels within the organization
- Ability to take initiative and follow-through on assignments in a fast paced work environment is required
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field or related field required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Proven data retrieval and report development experience
- Business process reengineering expertise a plus
Requirements for the second Senior HRIS Analyst:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Required experience with PeopleSoft HRMS system 8.x
- Prior experience implementing and maintaining PS Security
- Functional knowledge of Human Resources and Employment/Recruitment procedures and practices is highly desirable
- Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Must be able to demonstrate training ability, strong presentation skills and the ability to interface with all functions and levels within the organization
- Ability to take initiative and follow-through on assignments in a fast paced work environment is required
- Proven data retrieval and report development experience
- Business process reengineering expertise a plus
