Welcome, the purpose of the Association for Advancement of Cost Engineering International's CyberSection is to provide an internet based forum for AACEI members to communicate and conduct meetings. Most AACEI members belong to geographical based sections. However, some decide to remain as members at-large or unassigned to a section. The purpose of this group site is to provide a forum and meeting place for AACEI members. AACE International is dedicated to the advancement of cost engineering through total cost management. AACEI promotes Cost Estimation, Cost/Schedule Control, and Project Management. AACEI has over 6000 International members. We have begun using Dimdim as the web conferencing tool. The DimDim service is free and meetings can be scheduled to support your timezone. While it is still recommended that you use a headset with microphone as the primary voice communications tool, we will be able to a provide call-in number. At present, these calls are not toll-free, hence the recommendation of headsets. The current purchased branded version of DimDim Pro offers us the ability to host up to 20 members for presentations/discussions and the ability to record these presentations/discussions for later viewing. CyberSection is also active with AACEI Forums and Linkedin Groups. We have a website that can be viewed at AACEI, see address under links.
