This purpose of this group is to establish a forum where members of American Axle and Manufacturing Inc. Local 424 may discuss issues and post documents germane to the UAW Local 424 general membership.

My goal is to promote free, fair, and honest information about the goings on at UAW Local 424. I invite posting of messages and files from the general membership and our elected local leadership. I hope for this group to be for honest discussion and debate germane to Local 424.

I hope you notice that there are no spam messages is in this group. I've worked to delete them as they are posted, but it's been a pain so I've changed the membership rules. This site is now restricted which means NEW MEMBERS must request to join and I must approve them. If you send any spam after approval, you're reported to Yahoo! as a spammer and banned. Personal attacks will receive ONE warning. A repeat personal attack will result in being banned.

I believe in a fair representation for all our members, including our Local 424 leadership, and this site will promote that! I will try to validate any postings to the files section and if I can't I'll contact the poster. Yahoo only gives us 20 MB for the files section, so it may become necessary for me to purge the files section from time to time.

Play fair and be honest! That's what this site is all about. Lie and cheat (post bogus documents,) and I'll bounce you out so fast, you'll see the bruise on your butt before you see the "denied access" message! It doesn't matter if you're "Blue Ticket" or not! If a thread turns into a name calling match, I'll purge it.
