Feedback Needed for ACE Corridor Study
**********************************************************************
As the ACE service approaches the end of its first decade of commuter rail
service to the San Joaquin Valley, Tri-Valley and Silicon Valley, the Regional
Rail Commission is keenly aware of the need to expand the existing ACE service
and to improve the quality of the service to ACE’s passengers. To this end the
Commission appointed consultants to undertake a study during Summer/Fall of 2006
with three key deliverables:
1) A short term (i.e. 1-5 years) Action Plan to improve and increase ACE Service
between Stockton and San Jose.
2) A longer term (i.e. 6-10 years) Action Plan to improve and increase ACE
Service between Stockton and San Jose.
3) An Action Plan detailing the steps that will need to be taken to improve the
ACE-BART connection at Pleasanton.
In December, ACE's consultants will present their final report to the Rail
Commission with recommendations based upon the above listed study plans. Before
members of the board approve any changes or updates to ACE's current services,
they will want to hear what the public has to say about the proposed changes.
Whether you are a regular passenger or someone who has never riden before, ACE
needs to hear from you; please take a moment to submit your feedback.
By clicking on the link below, you will be directed to the specific part of the
ACE website where you will be able to view a brief Power Point presentation on
the study and also submit a feedback form. Thank you for taking the time to
give us your thoughts on the future of ACE.
