Take the Commute Challenge!
**********************************************************************
Do you have the toughest commute? According to many reports, ACE
passengers have some of the most intense commutes in California. Can
you prove these theories? If you think you can, tell us about your
commute!

All you have to do is send us a detailed description of your one-way
daily commute; ACE administration will then pick a couple of the
toughest. After you have submitted your journey to us, the panel will
consider such attributes as distance, time, and transfers and will
then personally experience your commute right along side you - video
camera in-hand! We could even take your story right to the
legislators!

The task is simple, just use the following email to send the details
of your commute. Don't forget to include your contact information
with your commute description; we will get in touch with you when we
decide to tag along!

Holiday Approaching
**********************************************************************
In observance of the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 3, the ACE
trains will not be in service and ACE headquarters will be closed.

Passenger Appreciation Days - Continued!
**********************************************************************
On Tuesday August 21st, numerous members of the San Joaquin Regional
Rail Commission Staff, along with 2 members of VTA staff, held an ACE
Passenger Appreciation event at the San Jose and Great America
stations. Riders were provided a gift of appreciation, chilled water,
and a snack. A raffle was held among those passengers who stopped by
with the prize being October Monthly Tickets.

We will have two more ACE Passenger Appreciation Days in the near
future. We will be at the Fremont Centerville Station on September
12, 2007. We will also be holding a three station Tri-Valley event at
Pleasanton, Livermore, and Vasco Road on September 19th, 2007.

FREE Monthly Pass!

Attention Monthly pass holders. Want to get a free October 2007
monthly pass? Here’s how!

1) Submit each original monthly ticket from November 2006 to
August 2007.
2) Submit a copy of your current September 2007 pass (both front
and back).
3) Fill out a Loyalty Reward Application form and submit with
your tickets. The LRP application form is available from our website.
For your convenience, the link to the application form is provided
below.
4) Send in your entry by Sept 15, 2007. For automatic renewal
passengers, application must be received prior to the 15th to avoid
being charged.

preparation of four separate frequencies. This will allow each train
to have a separate signal.
