The Association of Advanced MBAs, Attorneys and Physicians (AAMAP) supports an important and growing segment of the global MBA/EMBA/attorney/physician community, namely those MBAs, JDs and MDs with advanced doctoral degrees in science, engineering, economics or medicine - i.e. a PhD degree. MBA-JDs are also welcome to join. The AAMAP aims to provide a new platform for these interdisciplinary dual degree MBA-, JD- & MD-holders to network, conduct job searches, explore careers and pursue professional development activities appropriate to their advanced training and professional qualifications that are not addressed by existing MBA, JD & MD groups.

Holders of German degrees such as the Diplom-Betriebswirt, Diplom-Kaufmann/frau, Diplom-Volkswirt, Diplom-Wirtschaft, Diplom-Oekonom, Diplom-Finanz or Diplom-Jurist are also eligible to join. Career planning and placement officers and faculty at business, law and medical schools and schools of science and engineering are welcome to join as associate members, as are executive recruiters.

The AAMAP should be of particular interest to those working in: technology commercialization, licensing and transfer; intellectual property management; venture capital, incubators, angel and seed funding; startup companies and entrepreneurship; strategy and strategy consulting; finance and banking; innovation management & policy; advanced research & development; futures studies; business development; international economic development; and joint ventures & strategic alliances.

It is expected that the AAMAP will become a cutting edge community for networking and exchange between leading researchers and innovators; angel and venture financiers; entrepreneurs; commercialization and strategy experts; science, technology and health policy professionals; and doctors and attorneys around the world.
