Mainly, his downfall was his secret negotiations over the gas
pipeline and then passing them on to the legislature as an all or

Second, getting rid of the Longevity Bonus.
Third, making Robin Taylor director of the ferry system and
ruining what was once a fairly reliable system.
On the other hand, Sarah Palin, a Republican candidate for
governor, is becoming a force in Alaska politics. She is the former 4 time mayor
of Wasilla. Her popularity stems from having gotten rid of property
tax and some business taxes in that city. No one comes close to her in
the polls, including Democrat, Tony Knowles. She will be the next
governor although I disagree with her politics.

& I think she will help the Nation's health ... as she is willing to know what happened to the Exxon Valdez oil Spill cleanup workers. I spoke to her 4 years ago when she was campaigning for Senator Stevens & for Murkowski for Governor. I said the Exxon Valdez oil spill workers were harmed in the cleanup. She asked, "Is there proof?"
It is the same chemical I suspect for harming our military NOW & in the past.
