Re: [amiquote] Re: Livecharts & AmiQuote - alternatives?

Hello,

In theory "eSignal EOD" service should be enough to download intraday data after market close.
According to eSignal sales rep, EOD service has historical intraday too (available from 30 minutes after close till 30 minutes before open next day),
yearly subscription is somewhere near $300/year but please verify intraday data availabilty on your own.

The other options are IQFeed and QPFeed.

Best regards,

Subject: [amiquote] Re: Livecharts & AmiQuote - alternatives?

thank you for your reply tomasz. i cancelled my livechart subscription
today.

so, may i ask a question to all you fellow amiquote/livecharts user
out there: where do you go from here?

i am an active trader at interactive brokers and quite happy with
them. for years i have been using livecharts/amiquote to build a
historical 1-min database for all US stocks, downloading their delayed
data on a daily automated basis.
tradestation: i have been a user of ts for some time but only to
download off their very good historical intraday data. since i am a
rather active trader i do not want to switch from ib to ts because
their commissions cannot compete with ib.
opentick: i use the opentick/amibroker plugin to fill my occasional
data holes. they seem to be getting better and bigger but you can only
download data stock by stock.
esignal: again, i am only looking for the data. as far as i know i
would only get 6-month backfill for $99/month.

how do i keep my huge historical 1-min database alive and up-to-date?

thanks for your ideas,
dirk schreiber
