Agile 2009 Submissions...now is the time to submit your proposals!   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #372 of 405 |

Do you have something compelling, thought provoking or an interesting Agile experience to contribute at Agile 2009 in Chicago?

Now is the time to act and write-up a session proposal and submit before February 13, 2009.  The conference organizers welcome session proposals for experience reports, panels, tutorials, research papers, workshops and activities for any of the stages listed at: http://agile2009.agilealliance.org/welcome.

We are looking for submission in the various stages.

 * Agile Adoption
 * Agile Frontier
 * Agile & Organizational Culture
 * Agile Product Management
 * Coaching
 * Customers & Business Value
 * Developer Jam
 * Distributed Agile
 * Leadership & Teams
 * Manifesting Agility
 * New to Agile
 * Research
 * Testing
 * Tools for Agility
 * User Experience
 * Open Jam

Why you should come/submit a session proposal?

 * Authoritative – meet top thought leaders, book authors, community members
 * Generous compensation for accepted submissions (read on!)
 * One-stop place for all your agile questions
 * See agile practices & project work done in real time
 * Sessions range from beginner to expert, covering all roles
 * Experience reports: see how other people in similar situations took on Agile and what they learned
 * Talks range from practical coding to organizational transformation
 * Accessible presenters - will respond to your ideas & questions
 * Open & friendly environment (OpenJam, foregoing participants, drinks in local bars, chance to meet new `agilists' from your country or region)
 * Leading tool vendors, with their best consultants and representatives available for private chats
 * Worldwide crowd: meet not just North-Americans! In 2008, people came in from 39 countries to attend this conference

We also like to ask your help to bring attention to others.  The Agile2009 conference is a pure volunteer organized conference and each of us are working hard to market this event.

Please also show your support to this conference by posting any of the web badges on your website/blogs.    http://agile2009.agilealliance.org/badges

Thank you all for your help!
