Nutritional vitamin supplements and vitamin nutritional
supplements are among the most important things you can do for
the overall health of your mind and body. Taking quality
broad-spectrum nutritional vitamin supplements on a regular
basis can ensure that your body has enough of the nutrients
needed to perform and function the way it's supposed to.

Since we are now living longer, we want the years to be active
ones filled with energy and vitality and free from disease.
Ideally, the source of vitamins, minerals and nutrients should
be from your diet. However, poor food choices, processed foods,
sodas and excess sweets have become the norm for millions.
Besides, even with a well-balanced diet, studies find that food
nutrient values have been declining for decades because of soil
depletion.

Choosing one of the high-quality nutritional vitamin
supplements helps fill the 'gaps' in nutrition that everyone
has. The ingredients used in vitamin nutritional supplements
can be one of two types, either natural or synthetic. Numerous
studies have shown that the natural nutritional vitamin
supplements have a higher potency than the synthetic
ingredients. However, since the synthetic ingredients are
cheaper, most manufacturers use synthetic ingredients. It's no
wonder that studies done based on the cheap one-a-day vitamins
show that little if any benefits will be obtained using these
products.

The essential nutrients that the body requires are extensive
and are much more than just vitamins and minerals. High quality
daily nutritional vitamin supplements should include amino acids
like L-Carnosine, alpha lipoic acid and acetyl L-Carnitine that
provide proven benefits. Other anti-aging nutrients backed by
studies that the body needs and will use are antioxidants such
as quercetin, bioflavanoids, certain herbal extracts, enzymes
to improve the vitamin nutritional supplements absorbability
and so on. And these nutrients must be in the correct
proportions to each other.

There ARE manufacturers that design and make supplements
available online that provide the broad-spectrum nutritional
vitamin supplements at reasonable prices. Instead of looking
for the cheapest, look for the best value. There is one
manufacturer in particular that uses pharmaceutical grade
ingredients, many supported by clinical studies and at very
reasonable prices. Ingredients are even linked to relevant
clinical studies on their website. The 'delivery' system used
is called 'enteric coating' which allows absorption to take
place in the small intestines instead of the stomach since
stomach acids destroy most of the nutrients.

Taking quality vitamin nutritional supplements should be about
better health and energy, freedom from illness, improved sexual
vigor and slowing the aging process. Learn as much as you can
about ways you can help protect yourself from premature aging
and the role that nutritional vitamin supplements will have in
your health every day. Eat as healthy as you can, stay active,
get sufficient quality sleep and keep taking the best
nutritional supplements you can find.

It seems as though many golfers are unaware of the importance
the hands play in the execution of the golf swing. Obviously,
we know that the hands grip the golf club and attach the body
to the club. But what is the importance of them during the
swing?

The answer has to do with releasing of the club. Let’s go back
and do a quick golf biomechanics review. During the swing, from
address position to follow-through, the hands are active in a
passive type of manner.

Let me explain. The goal of the golf swing is to move the club
on the correct swing plane to induce the intended golf shot
that you want. This occurs through the body’s moving through a
series of positions. These positions are found within the
different phases of the golf swing.

The phases of the swing are address, take-away, backswing,
transition, downswing, impact, and follow-through. During all
of these movements the body is performing, the golf club is
being moved upon a swing plane. The swing plane is the path
upon which the golf club is to travel. Proper impact with the
golf ball requires the golf club’s traveling upon the correct
swing plane.

In order for the club to travel on the correct swing plane it
is necessary for the clubface to open and close. Oftentimes, in
golf terms the opening and closing, of the clubface is termed
“releasing of the club.” This is where the hands become an
integral part of the golf swing.

If you talk to almost any instructor, they will say that any
good player has “great hands.” This statement refers to exactly
what was described above (the releasing of the club correctly).
It’s obvious if you look at players such as Tiger, Phil, or
Vijay.

I even remember walking the course at Doral in Miami with top-5
teaching instructor, Rick Smith. One point he continued to
return to in terms of discussing the golf swing was “hands.” He
stated more than once how any PGA Tour player has great hands.
This just provides additional support for how important the
hands are in terms of the golf swing.

But what does this all mean? Well, we know the hands are
involved in the “opening and closing” of the clubface during
your swing. This movement allows for the proper release of the
club. As I mentioned, the hands are “active in your golf swing,
but in a passive manner.”

Again, to open and close the clubface during the golf swing the
hands move back during the backswing, hinge at the top of the
backswing, return the club to square at impact, and release the
club afterwards. In order for this to occur the hands must be
passive!

What do I mean by passive?

You cannot force the hands to move through the golf swing and
release the club. This creates tension in the golf swing,
affects tempo, and, overall, results in poor shots. If you do
not believe me, go to the driving range, grip a club as hard as
you can, and attempt to swing. The results will be much less
than optimal.

I think Dean Reinmuth, ranked by Golf Digest as a top-30
teaching pro, puts it best when speaking about the hands in the
golf swing. He discusses “feel” as an integral part of the golf
swing. He states that in order to have a successful golf swing
you must be “tension free.”

“Feeling” the club move on the swing plane is an indicator of
being “tension free.” And in order to have this feeling, your
hands must be relaxed (i.e. passive).

How do you develop good hands in your golf swing?

Easier said than done. In order to develop “feel” in the golf
swing, remove “tension” from your golf swing and develop great
hands, you must develop three fundamentals.

Fundamental number one is an understanding of the golf swing.
In order to know what the body and golf club are to do during
the swing you must know the biomechanics of the golf swing. If
you don’t, how are you going to know what the body and club are
to be doing during each phase of the golf swing?

Secondly, you must develop the mechanics of the golf swing.
Your body and mind must integrate the movements of the golf
swing into a repeatable movement. This occurs through proper
instruction and practice of the correct golf swing mechanics.

Finally, it is necessary to develop the body. Yes, the body!
Your body must have the flexibility, strength, endurance, and
power to perform the golf swing correctly. If the body is
inflexible, weak, and powerless, how are you going to be able
to perform the mechanics of the swing correctly?

The obvious answer is: you are not! Developing great hands in
your golf swing comes down to developing a “basket” of
fundamentals within your golf swing. Understand the
biomechanics of the golf swing, develop the proper mechanics
within your golf swing, and develop a body to support your
swing. These are the keys to developing great hands in your
golf game.

How many of us are not confident about how we handle life’s
situations? Truth is you may be confident in some area of your
life but not others.

I grew up a very shy person and was not comfortable going out
of my comfort zone. I always stayed in the background and tried
to make myself less noticeable. It was especially painful
in-group activities that involved boys. But as luck would have
it, it was at a school dance that I had a breakthrough.

I was sitting in the background hoping a boy would ask me to
dance but also terrified that I would get asked. It finally
happened. There was a boy approaching me and I was shaking. But
I noticed something odd, that he was shaking too. He stuttered
when he asked me and it suddenly occurred to me, he was as
scared as I was. It was a huge revelation to me. That moment
changed me and in later dances I became the one who would ask
the boys to dance and I felt very confident. I stepped out of
my comfort zone and it became easy. This was a major step for a
young girl.

This is true in all areas of your life. Confront what you don’t
want to, get it done and you realize it’s not so bad.

Oddly enough it was my daughter who really inspired me and her
friends. At 12 years old she signed up for a modeling course.
It was something she really wanted to do. They taught her how
to walk, hold herself up with her head high, she developed
excellent poise and learned how to be comfortable in front of a
lot of people while walking down the runway. They taught her how
to apply makeup and how to choose clothes. She modeled for only
2 years before she decided to stop but it forever changed her
and she has maintained incredible poise and confidence.

When you have confidence and poise you will stand out and even
if you don’t feel completely comfortable. Often you see people
in sports with the same confidence. If you make yourself affect
a look of confidence soon you will realize that you are.
Motivational posters in your home or work place are a great way
to remind yourself what you are trying to accomplish. There is a
great motivational print called “Girl Power-Soccer” which says,
“Have the courage to stand out”. Have confidence and poise and
you will stand out!

Enjoy the adventure!

Creating your own products is not difficult. However, it does
take a little time to get it done, create a sales letter for
it, work on the site, test it out, etc.

Since you may be short on time (and money), one method you can
use is to start by looking for existing products that you could
acquire resell rights to or become an affiliate of.

You can go to www.clickbank.com and browse through their
Marketplace for a product you can affiliate with. I like
clickbank because they automatically (and instantly) transfer
your commissions into your account. You don't have to depend on
the product owner's schedule to receive timely commissions. And,
you can become an affiliate of all of their products at no
charge.

You could also go to www.google.com (or even Yahoo) and search
for sites selling recipes, recipe books, cookbooks, etc. and
look for sites you could affiliate with. It would be to your
advantage to work with sites/products that offer a generous
commission (at least 50%.)

Tip: As you look through these sites, pay attention to how
professional the sites look, how convincing the sales letter
is, and also how soon after the sale they send out commissions.
If you personally feel good about the site, see some great
testimonials, and feel that you would want to do business with
that company, you've probably found a good business to
affiliate with.

(Let me also point out here that if you do have some experience
with creating your own products, feel free to do so. It doesn't
have to contain 100 pages. It can be only a few pages, as long
as you provide solid, valuable information.)

Finding Your Niche

When trying to figure out which niche to go after, the
questions you want to ask yourself are...

What do I love to do the most? What am I most passionate about
in life?

What subjects do I have strong emotional feeling towards?

What am I naturally good at or have an instinct for? (Provided
it's something you enjoy doing!)

If I were to wake up in the morning and choose to do one thing,
what would that be?

What would express my creative intention and bring out the best
in me while doing it?

How can I benefit myself and others if I were to express my
creative intention?

To some, the answers may come very easily. And for some of us,
it may require a little bit of soul-searching and
self-discovery to get there.

If you're having a hard time finding the answers, just get your
mind going in that general direction by pondering on the above
questions, especially before you go to bed at night (and until
you fall asleep.) The power of focus is such that it will get
your mind working in the background (while you're sleeping) to
bring the answers to you.

For now, you can simply start by asking...

"What are my favorite hobbies, interests, activities, etc."

Or...

"What are some things I don't know yet but have a burning
desire to learn more about?"

Start a list and add all your favorites to it.

If you're still having a hard time trying to figure out which
niche market to go into, start by simply spending some time
asking questions of yourself...What are my favorite hobbies,
interests, activities, etc. Or...What are some things I don't
know yet but have a burning desire to learn more about?

Start a list and add all your favorites to it.

Here's a list of some of the most popular subjects people are
paying for...

• Dating, Seduction, Sex Advice, Relationships

• Losing weight, gaining muscle, looking more attractive

• Health & fitness, cures/reliefs from specific diseases &
ailments

• Spying, online privacy and security

• Safety, personal security, and protection of self and loved
ones (self defense, home security, scam prevention, etc.)

• How to use computers and the Internet

• Mental influence, persuasion, and dominance

• General self-help, self improvement, personal development,
and success

• Hobbies and special interests: cooking, magic, UFO's,
metaphysics, becoming more competitive in sports, activities,
etc.

• Making money, aside from marketing information: investing,
stock market, futures trading, real estate tips, and other
related financial information

• And of course, having more control and freedom in their
lives!

People are always looking to improve themselves or some area of
their lives. They are always trying to find solutions to
problems.

There are sites catering to some of the above categories that
are already generating thousands of dollars every month. I have
personally sold products on some of the above categories and
done very well.

Yet, we haven't even begun to tap the true profit potential in
these areas yet because there's very little competition in most
of these areas, especially when compared to the "how-to
marketing" area! The potential to make money from the above
special-interest categories is huge - and it's wide open!

Moreover, as more and more people get accustomed to buying
digital products, you can easily imagine making insane amounts
of money through these topics well into the future.

You could pick any one of the above subjects that you
personally have an interest in and run with it.

“I’ve waited so long for love to come into my life, yet now
that it’s here, I’m depressed. I can’t figure this out,”
complained Elayne in one of our phone counseling sessions.
“Todd is really terrific. He’s all I’ve been wanting in a man –
open, caring, and emotionally available. I really think there is
something wrong with me.”

“When did you start to feel depressed?” I asked.

“Well, I think it started last week right after we spent a
wonderful weekend together.”

“What happened after the weekend?”

“It was Sunday evening. We had just come back from an early
dinner, and Todd wanted to watch a movie with me on TV. I told
him that I wanted to go to the gym because I hadn’t worked out
in a few days. He sounded disappointed in not watching the
movie with me, so I didn’t go to the gym. I stayed and watched
the movie with him because I didn’t want him to feel hurt and
rejected.”

“And that’s when you started to feel depressed?”

“Yes. Can it really be because I didn’t go to the gym?”

“Well,” I said, “It’s not exactly because you didn’t go to the
gym. You probably enjoyed watching the movie with him, right?”

“Right! A part of me did want to watch the movie with him,
because I do love being with him. That’s why I can’t figure
this out.”

“Elayne, I think that the problem is that you make Todd’s
feelings and needs more important than your feelings and needs.
You gave yourself up to Todd out of fear of his upset feelings.
I don’t think you would have been depressed if you had decided
that you really wanted to watch the movie with Todd more than
you wanted to go to the gym. But it doesn’t sound like you took
the time to go inside to see what you really wanted. What were
you afraid would have happened if you had gone to the gym?”

“I was afraid that he would be angry at me and withdraw from
me.”

“So you were willing to lose yourself rather than risk losing
him, is that right?”

“Yes, that’s exactly what I did.”

“So controlling his feelings and behavior was more important
than taking loving care of yourself?”

“Yeah, I guess so. I didn’t realize that I was trying to
control him by not going to the gym, but I can see that that is
exactly what I was doing.”

“So, imagine that your feelings and needs are a child within
you, and Todd’s feelings and needs are a child within him. If
you put aside your child to take care of his child, how is your
child going to feel?”

“Oh, I see! I feel depressed because I gave myself up and put
my child aside to take care of his child! Wow, this
relationship stuff is hard! I also feel trapped and resentful,
like Todd is somehow not letting me do what I want to do. And
as soon as I didn’t go to the gym, which is what I really
wanted to do, I didn’t feel very attracted to him.”

“Right. And Todd may have been trying to control you with his
disappointment. Has he felt rejected and hurt in the past when
you didn’t do what he wanted?’

“Yes, he does this sometimes. I hate it when he feels like
that. Now I can see that he is trying to control me with his
hurt, and I’m trying to control him by giving myself up. I can
also see that this is not going to work well.”

Elayne decided to talk with Todd about what she had learned.
Fortunately, Todd was very open to understanding his own
behavior as well as Elayne’s. Elayne made the decision to risk
letting go of responsibility for Todd’s feelings and take
responsibility for her own feelings and needs. Elayne’s
depression quickly vanished as she started to take loving care
of herself.

A lot of places around the world call it A Curriculum Vitae, in
North America, it's a Résumé. This is definitely one of the most
important tools that any jobseeker has at their disposal. You
may be THE best candidate for a particular job by a long way,
however, if you don't make it to the interview stages the
company will never know.

Many companies (especially the larger corporations) will use
computer software to "read" all the résumé’s and reject any
that don't fit a particular template. This may seem unfair, but
it's cost effective.

So, for some jobs you have to beat the computer and still read
well enough for someone who may not have any knowledge of the
position you are applying for. It is definitely worthwhile to
adapt your resume for the position that is advertised. There
may well be some of the "buzz" words the "filter" is looking
for mentioned in the job description.

It is very important that you can substantiate all the claims
you make, preferably with physical examples or letters. This
will be essential in any in interview situation.

There is now a wealth of information available online, from
books, local employment offices and with professional writing
agencies. You can also access other people’s résumé’s that are
posted online which will give some great ideas for style and
content.

Professional writers may seem the answer, but, all the research
I have done seems to lean away from them. I have never used one
and feel that it will give a good impression if you have
written it yourself (this will display literacy). Apparently,
if they are professionally written, they are easy to spot;
however, they may be worth the expense if you are stuck. You
can always "customise" what has been written to make it your
own work.

In my case, I had been in the military since I left school and
had never written a resume or had an interview. I spent a lot
of time writing, copying other people’s styles and changing
things. I didn't realise how difficult it is to catch up on 16
years - I'll never allow mine to go out of date again! I found
the hardest part was to actually start writing. The best advice
I was given was to just write anything that you can think of and
it will soon start to flow. With modern word processors it's
relatively quick and easy to cut and paste so you can keep on
changing it until you are happy. More detailed information can
be found at

The modern mum-to-be is a stressed out individual, having to
cater to increasing pressures of a fast paced society and work
place. Yet at the same time, she knows that her wellness is
crucial especially during her pregnancy if she wants a smooth
delivery process and the birth of a healthy happy baby.

This increased awareness has led to the search for alternative
approaches in addition to traditional health services.
Pregnancy massage therapy is one such alternative approach. It
has much therapeutic value as it enhances the function of
muscles and joints, improves blood circulation and relieves
mental and physical fatigue.

Pregnancy Massage can be prenatal, postnatal or during the
labour process, although many refer pregnancy massage to just
prenatal and post-natal massage to mean massage that takes
place a few days after delivery.

In a prenatal massage, the massage is focused on reducing
pregnancy discomforts and aims to enhance the physiological and
emotional well-being of both mother and foetus. A relaxed mother
also helps in the development of a brainy and healthy foetus.
Also, the massage helps to strengthen and prepares the muscles
that are useful for a natural delivery process.

Many women fear a long delivery process. Yet, many desire one
that is as natural as possible and without the use of epidural
or any other drugs. During labour, massage techniques exist to
help shorten the delivery process while easing pain and
anxiety.

Post-natal massage focuses on toning the new mother’s body,
reduce fluid retention and and helps the body be brought back
to balance and shape. It also helps to rejuvenate and
re-energize the new mother and thus enhance her ability to bond
with her baby.

The pregnant female should always first consult her doctors if
she is suitable for massage or for any other alternative
therapies that they wish to try. Her overall objective is to
achieve a good mental state and physical health and to have a
wonderful birthing experience.

Some pregnant mums have it easy. Yet others have to go through
many hours of labour.

But one thing’s for sure. After the delivery process, many are
just plain tired. In addition, having to breastfeed and nurse a
newborn several times a night can be exhausting.

The new mum today does not have much time to rest and relax
during her confinement period at home. She needs to get back to
work pretty quickly and that means, facing added pressure to
lose weight so that she can fit back to her office wear.

Post-natal massage may just be the solution to her needs. Here
are 6 top benefits of Post-natal massage therapy:

1. Relaxation
2. Stress Relief
3. Relieves aches on shoulders or neck
4. Hasten the reduction of fluid retention.
5. Help uterus to shrink to original size
6. Reduce cellulite and help to tone up the body.

In many parts of Asia, many women before delivery would in
fact, prebook sessions with an Indonesian massage therapist for
post-natal massage. The treatment is a traditional one which has
been handed down several generations and even practiced today.
This treatment involves the use of a massage oil applied to the
stomach and a tummy wrap (bengkung), essentially a cotton cloth
of several metres. The bengkung is used to wrap the body so as
to push up the uterus, clear water retention, wind, spasm,
shrinks the tummy and helps to reduce weight. Post-natal
massage is usually done in the privacy of one’s own home.

For a mother that has delivered her baby naturally, it is
generally pretty safe to go for a post-natal massage. For those
that delivered by caesarian, be sure to consult your
professional massage therapist or your doctor first. Most in
fact, would recommend that you wait a few more weeks before
proceeding with a post-natal massage.

Post-natal massage provides a sense of continuing comfort for
the new mother. The aim of this massage is to give nurturing
and emotional support as well as alleviate the muscle strain of
labor and childbirth. Some post natal massage therapies also
come with a detoxification ritual that rids the midriff of post
birth bagginess.

In some instances, post-natal massage can also bring about a
much shapelier silhouette, compared to the one just before
pregnancy!

If you love someone who is an alcoholic, or you are struggling
with your own alcohol problem, you may be interested in the
process of alcohol detoxification. Alcohol withdrawal symptoms
can range from uncomfortable to life threatening, depending on
the severity of the addiction, and detoxification can help with
this process.

Alcohol detoxification is simply eliminating alcohol from the
body and providing medical assistance for the symptoms of
withdrawal that accompany this process. Medical professionals
will generally prescribe a limited course of treatment with one
of several drugs developed for this purpose. The most common is
called Chlordiazepoxide. While I do not like the use of drugs
in most cases, I do concede that in certain instances, such as
this, they can be extremely helpful and effective in helping
someone to recover from a harmful addiction.

The treatment will usually last about a week. The dosage is
highest on the first day, with declining amounts on the
following days. This allows the highest dosage to be used at
the time when the effects of withdrawal are strongest. Close
supervision by a medical professional is usually required, and
the patient must agree to discontinue all alcohol use during
the treatment time.

Without treatment, an alcoholic who suddenly discontinues the
use of alcohol can experience mild symptoms like sweating,
cravings for alcohol and trembling. More severe withdrawal
symptoms can include delirium tremens, hallucinations and even
convulsions in a small percentage of patients. The
detoxification drugs help the body eliminate alcohol and limit
these uncomfortable and sometimes dangerous symptoms.

With the use of drugs like Chlordiazepoxide, withdrawal is less
dangerous and more comfortable than it would be without
medicine. Most users still experience some trouble sleeping,
nervousness and irritability, though.

Detoxification only addresses the physical issues of
alcoholism, though, and many professional endorse a combined
therapy that includes counseling or a 12 step program to follow
the detoxification process. Most contend that the cravings for
alcohol, both physical and psychological, will remain long
after it is out of the system. Counseling and continued
treatment is required to help the patient change their
attitudes and resist returning to alcohol use.

In addition to counseling and support, there are several drugs
that may be prescribed to help avoid a relapse and make
recovery easier. Acamprosate helps reduce cravings and another
drug, Disulfiram, will make the user sick if they ingest
alcohol.

There is no shame in asking for assistance with an alcohol
problem. Most family doctors and counselors can prescribe the
detoxification treatment or make the appropriate referrals.
Take advantage of the assistance available; recovering from
alcoholism is an often difficult road.

Using the help available can be the difference between recovery
and relapse, so ask your healthcare professional about
detoxification programs today.

Your body may be sending you signals that you need to take a
break from alcohol. It may be time to detox alcohol from your
body if you are feeling run down and tired, having digestive
problems or experiencing achy muscles. If you drink and party
regularly and have any of these symptoms, a simple alcohol
detox may be for you.

With repeated or long term use, alcohol can cause liver and
kidney problems, addiction and weight gain. While drinking and
partying often seem harmless, ingesting alcohol on a regular
basis can lead to the build up of toxins and sugars and
eventually to alcoholism, or addiction to alcohol. Overuse and
dependence on alcohol can have serious health risks as well.

However, most of us don’t have a serious problem, and use
alcohol socially. Even so, what can we do to limit the long
term effects of alcohol usage?

In its simplest form, an alcohol detoxification program simply
involves abstaining from alcohol for a period of time and
allowing the body to eliminate all traces of the substance from
the tissues and blood stream. Most healthcare professionals
recommend at least one to four weeks of no alcohol. However, if
you are a heavy drinker or suspect that you may be an alcoholic,
cutting back or switching from hard liquor to wine for the first
few days or a week may be easier for you to handle. Many people
who have developed a dependence on alcohol will experience
uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms like sweating, trembling and
an almost overwhelming craving for alcohol.

Allowing your body a “vacation” from drinking may eventually
lead to healthier habits, as you experience increased energy
and vitality after your body begins to recover. During this
period, take the chance to also do a colon, liver and kidney
cleanse. Many report an increase in energy, sexual drive and
function and a decrease of appetite after the detox period.

Allow your body to recover and rest. Take a break from alcohol
for a month and you may be surprised at how great you feel!

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Picking good stocks is only the first step to become a
consistently profitable trader. Those of you that track the
performances of stock picks I post on
http://www.cisiova.com/analysis.asp know that it is impossible
to determine if a stock is good without a good exiting
strategy. And for most traders, exit strategy is the hardest
part. Many people say that to trade profitably you need to
develop the right mentality. Unfortunately, such winning
mentality can only be developed through experience. However,
there is a short cut to get through the learning curve without
throwing thousands of dollars in the process. This short cut is
playing POKER.

Yes you heard me right. Apparently, playing poker has a lot of
similarities with investing in stocks. First of all, they both
deal with money, uncertainties, and a keen judgment of
potential risk and reward. In this article I will explain the
similarities and differences between stock trading and poker.
But before proceeding, make sure you know the rules of Texas
Holdem and fluent with the terminologies.

Think of stock picking as looking for good hands to play. In
Texas Holdem, you can look at the two hole cards and decide
whether you can play the hand or not. Similarly, you can
analyze the stock before entering a position. Fortunately for
you traders, no one will raise pre-flop, so you just pay the
commission. Remember to exit the position you also need to pay
the commission, which implies that the cost of entering a
position is two times the commission. Good poker players only
play good hands, so you should do thorough researches before
entering a position. One good thing about trading is that you
do not have to wait for good stocks like poker players wait for
good hands, you can find good stocks on stock picking websites
or using screeners to find them yourself.

Once you call the blinds in poker, you get to see the flops and
two more cards. Think of these cards as the performance of your
stock after you enter the position. In poker, the flop can make
a good hand, a medium hand, or a bad hand (by helping your
opponents). In trading, you can observe the potential of the
stock as well, and you should objectively judge the downside
and upside potential of the stock. In poker, there are times
that you have a good hand, and your opponent have a better
hand, and you know you are beat. These are the times where your
mentality matters the most. An experienced poker player will
fold his hand regardless of the amount of money he has put into
the pot. As a trader, at times that you think the upside
potential fails to actualize, you should sell the stock
regardless of how much you have lost. On the other hand, when a
good poker player knows he has the winning hand, despite the
possibility of losing at the river, he would bet aggressively,
without fearing the small losing possibility. In trading, this
translates to if the stock goes up and manifests higher upside
potential, you should not fear that you will lose your recent
winnings. Therefore the winning mentality is to ride when the
stock is going up, and sell when the stock is losing its heat.
This discipline is easily said than done. So many times I have
heard people lost all their money because they hold on to
losing positions (due to hope) and sell winning positions too
early (due to fear).

By playing poker, you would get the chance to master your
emotions, learning not to hope when you are beat, and not to
fear when you are favorable to win. You want to lose small and
win big, not the opposite.

Now go practice. This mentality only develops with experience.

Early retirement? Enjoyable retirement? Better QUALITY of Life?

YOUR answers to three simple questions below can quickly help
you put your personal situation in perspective. The article that
follows offers some important food for thought and solutions to
some common problems.

1) When would you LIKE to 'retire'?

[] In two years or less
[] In two - five years
[] In five - ten years or more

Great! What’s YOUR PLAN to achieve that goal?

2) How much money do YOU need monthly to 'retire' comfortably
or maintain your desired standard of living?
(Are prices the same now as they were 10-20 years ago? Will
they be the same 10-20yrs after you retire?)

   [] $1,000
   [] $2,000
   [] $3,000
   [] $5,000 or more.

Great! What’s YOUR PLAN to receive that monthly income?

3) How much money do you need to invest at a 6% return to
receive your desired monthly income?
(Take your answer from #2 and multiply by 200)

Great! What’s YOUR PLAN to accumulate that nest egg in your
chosen time frame?

Most people who expect to enjoy a care-free, enjoyable retirement
by following conventional wisdom, methods, and strategies, have
their heads buried in the sand and are in for some unpleasant
surprises or a rude awakening.

It’s time to wake up and plan ahead if you hope to spend your
“golden years” doing more than watching reruns of old television
shows from your rocker with drool running down your chin as you
wait for the next “meals on wheels” delivery to be made.

No matter which side of the current political debate you fall on,
you're not looking at all the facts if you don’t think “working
class” Americans (and others around the world) face some serious
impending financial problems. And most politicians on either
side don’t really care. They’ve got their own personal agendas
and a luxurious retirement plan already funded by your
hard-earned and often misspent tax dollars. But that’s a
whole other nightmare and article.

Nobody who looks at all the FACTS with half an ounce of common
sense could deny potential serious problems lie ahead. Below
are just a few quick facts to consider. They are by no means
all-inclusive.

  * True “job security” is a thing of the distant past.
  * More goods and services are being produced from outside our
borders, and the trend is GROWING.
  * According to recent statistics the 'average' American carries
7 credit cards and is over $9,000 in credit card debt alone.
  * The two biggest roadblocks to individual wealth accumulation
are TAXES and INTEREST on consumer debt.
  * Federal deficits are at an all time high, and the long term
commitment in Iraq isn't helping that situation.
  * A HUGE swell of 'babyboomers' already reaching early
retirement age will be dropping out of the work force over
the coming 10-15 years. Revenues will decline and many
expenses will rise, both for individuals and the system.
  * People are living much longer and spending more in their
later years on health care and prescription drugs. That
creates a need for a much larger nest egg than most people
    plan on.
  * Health care and prescription drug cost increases continue to
    dramatically outpace inflation.
  * Oil prices at an all time high with no end in sight create
a major squeeze on the poor and middle class and have an
    immediate upward impact on INFLATION.
  * Social Security benefits will have to be cut, or taxes
    raised, or BOTH.
  * Company sponsored pension plans have been on a major decline
for years and will eventually become extinct.

So is there any GOOD NEWS?

Yes, theres plenty - for people who are willing to recognize
some TRENDS in society, look “outside the box”, and make a
paradigm shift in some outdated thoughts and actions.

But first you have to be able to answer two more questions
correctly:

   1) Who’s more likely to have a better income and quality of
life - a successful business owner or their employees?

   2) And based on that answer and several of the bulleted
facts above, what is quickly becoming the...
       “World’s #1 Financial Success Strategy?”

The correct answer to the first question should be obvious.
The answer to the second is: Owning your own business.

But that brings up even more questions: What type of business?
How can “average” people afford to start a business?
What special knowledge or skills are required? etc. etc.

A successful business needs to be able to recognize and adapt to
trends in society and provide products or services that people
want or need. Thanks to advances in modern technology, the
Internet, and low cost long distance rates - the combination
of which allows worldwide communication at the speed of light -
successful International businesses with very low overhead can
now be run from the comfort and convenience of home, or from
anywhere you can get access to a telephone line.

And if you find the RIGHT business, start up and overhead costs
are very low, and you can "earn while you learn".

Starting a conventional business can be a risky and expensive
venture. Most fail before they ever get off the ground and most
'average' people don't have the capital or skills required.
Most 'mom & pop' businesses are nothing more than a low paying
job with long hours.

Might there be a better way?

Looking back over my bulleted list of real PROBLEMS above, a
few major potential opportunities and solutions stand out:

   1) There is a HUGE worldwide demand, need, and desire for
       people to:

       * Take back control of their lives,
       * Increase their current income or create additional
         income,
       * Enjoy more free time or increased QUALITY of life,
       * Legally minimize their tax burden and debt situation,
       * Eliminate many of the hassles, stress, wasted time,
and expenses of commuting to a job or career, and
       * Improve their long term financial security.

   2) The US government (and most others) gives significant tax
breaks to people who own and operate a legitimate business
with the intention to make a profit.

   3) The “natural” health and wellness industry is growing by
leaps and bounds and is predicted by many experts to be
the next trillion dollar industry. More and more people
are successfully addressing health concerns "naturally"
and are reducing their costs of health care, their
dependency on prescription drugs, and greatly enhancing
       their quality of life.

How can knowing or recognizing the simple facts above help
you? And what if there was a way to profit simultaneously or
synergistically from ALL of them?

Developing a “Millionaire Mindset” is the key!

Have you read “Rich Dad Poor Dad” or other books by
multi-millionaire best selling author Robert Kiyosaki? How
about the all time best selling classic “Think and Grow Rich”
by Napolean Hill? If not, contact me to get a free copy of
the latter.

Millionaires, successful business owners, and entrepreneurs, all
have a different attitude and mindset about money - that anybody
can learn. They understand and take advantage of three powerful
concepts Passive Recurring Income, Leverage, and Geometric
Growth Potential. I don’t have time to cover all the important
details in this brief article. But I can provide them via email
in a free report titled “3 Millionaire Secrets Revealed”. Or
you can learn more on the Internet at: http://www.RUwealthy.com

What type of business gives “average people” the best shot at
success and a realistic chance to achieve their dreams?

According to “Rich Dad Poor Dad” author Robert Kiyosaki and
many other experts, NEW WAVE network marketing has become the
“Perfect Business”. For more details from Mr. Kiyosaki, visit:
http://www.RichDad4.com

Unfortunately the terms 'network marketing' or ‘MLM’ have a bad
rap with the general population because many people have tried
and failed. Others confuse legal and legitimate opportunities
with the many illegal scams and “pyramid schemes” that will
always be around as long as foolish, greedy, or naïve people
believe they can “get rich quick for doing nothing”.

Legitimate network marketing is simply an unconventional way to
build a distribution network for quality products and services.
The business model gives every individual the opportunity to
become CEO of their own business, and eliminates many of the
negatives and typical "glass ceilings" of the corporate world.

The sad truth is that most people who start ANY business do NOT
have success. There are many reasons for that simple truth.
But the biggest one is…

LOVE IS BLIND!

People who fall in love - whether it be with a person, a concept,
or a product - seldom maintain the ability to objectively
evaluate the BIG PICTURE or complete package.

Do you think most people make most decisions based on emotions,
or based on logical evaluation of all the facts? I’ll guarantee
you that most are made based on emotions, then frequently
rationalized by choosing questionable ‘facts’ that support the
decision that was already made. It may sound foolish but it's
“human nature”.

The same thing happens in business. But there are 5-9 “Pillars
to Success” or "Universal Laws" that must ALL be in place before
any substantial long term success can be achieved in any
business. I’d be happy to email a summary sheet or access
to more detailed information to anyone who's interested.

Anyone with an open-minded willingness to learn, who is willing
to do a little research, get some good information, and find the
right company, mentors, and TEAM to work with, can achieve truly
uncommon success in a relatively short time.

Starting part-time, it's possible to produce a life and lifestyle
most people only dream of in 3-5 years. Some people do it much
quicker. All you need is some important fact-based information,
some support and training from a good coach, mentor, or TEAM,
and a willingness to put what you learn into ACTION.

Best wishes for Financial Security and a care-free, enjoyable,
and long lasting early retirement! It can all be yours for
the asking if you understand and apply a few simple concepts.

Ancient Remedy for Nail Fungus
Copyright © 2005 Jonathan N. Group, R.D., D.C
Fungus Research
http://www.nail-fungus-toenail.com

Myrrh has been widely known as an effective natural antiseptic
agent. It is a mixture of volatile oil, gum and resin which
originated in Ethiopia, Somalia, and the Arabian Peninsula. It
has been used for thousands of years as a remedy for a host of
ailments. Myrrh can be found in the contemporary market in
commercial mouthwashes, soaps, and cosmetics.

Myrrh is a bitter, pungent herb known for its stimulating effect
on the senses. Often it is used to rejuvenate and invigorate
tired bodies and minds. It has been used to treat cuts, scrapes,
and other minor skin wounds and irritations because of it's
effectiveness as a fighter of infection. Myrrh increases
circulation, supports the immune system, and acts as a
respiratory decongestant. Not only does myrrh lessen the chance
of infection and speed healing, it also prevents and alleviates
fungal infection. One application of this healing herb is in
cases of nail fungus.

Fungus of the nail is first shown by a lackluster or unhealthy
appearance of the fingernails. As the fungus spreads, the dull
color turns to yellow and the nail may lose its natural shape and
become thick and distorted. This distortion accentuates as the
edges of the nail become excessively brittle and may crumble
away.

If the nail fungus is allowed to grow unchecked, eventually the
nail may turn dark yellow, green, brown, or black. Additionally,
an unpleasant odor may be present and the entire fingernail may
become detached from the skin and fall off. These latter stages
of nail fungus can be extremely unsightly and painful. While
there are many prescription medications that can be used to fight
nail fungus, they can often be very costly and have adverse side
effects. Using an herbal treatment is a great alternative with
fewer side effects.

Myrrh can make a substantial difference in the overall health of
skin and nails that are infected with fungus. A tincture made
from myrrh can be an effective against nail fungus. Rubbing the
infected area of the foot with myrrh will help to reduce the
fungus that has attacked the nail. It also has a slight
anesthetizing effect, which serves to relieve the pain that often
accompanies the condition. Please note that it is wise to
maintain clean skin by gently cleansing the skin twice daily with
a mild soap, especially prior to a myrrh treatment. It is always
recommended that the infected skin be thoroughly dried after
cleansing to discourage new fungal growth.

There are no known adverse side effects associated with myrrh.
Although myrrh is much gentler than many pharmaceutical
treatments for nail fungus, it has been known to irritate
sensitive skin, especially around the eyes and vaginal area.
Before using this product it is wise to do an allergy test by
swabbing some of the myrrh on the inner arm. If the skin becomes
red, swollen, or itchy, do not use on other parts of the body.

When using myrrh or any other treatment for your nail fungus, the
success of the treatment depends on your willingness to
faithfully treat the nail every day and to continue your chosen
course of therapy for the recommended amount of time.
Unfortunately, because the cure for nail fungus can take up 3-6
months, many people choose to live with it until it becomes too
severe, rather than take measures to combat it. The treatment
must continue until the infected portion of the nail has
completely grown out. While there are many products that have
anti-fungal properties Fungal Research, LLC, only recommends the
best, most effective products for rapid response and long-term
results.

Once the nail is completely healthy, it is vital to take steps to
ensure that the fungus does not return. Keeping nails clean and
trimmed is important because fungus can make a home under the
nail. When your hands are exposed to water for prolonged periods
of time, use rubber gloves and make sure to give the gloves ample
time to dry inside out after use. Never pick at hangnails or
other skin around the nails as germs can more easily find a way
into your nails if you do.

If you typically have your nails done at a salon, be sure that it
is a reputable one that understands the importance of sterilizing
all manicure equipment. It also may be necessary to discontinue
using nail polish or artificial nails as they can trap moisture
under the polish and encourage the growth of fungus. It is also
important to keep the hands clean, especially after contacting
fungus that may reside on other fingernails or toenails because
of the contagious nature of the fungus. Additionally, maintaining
a healthy immune system is a key to fighting any fungal
infections to which you may be exposed.

Attracting Affiliates to Your Sales Program

What could be better than exceeding your personal sales goals for
a given month or year? How about doubling, tripling, or
quadrupling your sales goal for the month? This is exactly what
affiliates can do for you. The amount of growth potential through
affiliates is unlimited. The more affiliates you have, the more
money you can make. Consider Sam Walton trying to run every Wal-
Mart store alone. He obviously wouldn’t be very successful. You
must realize that maximum growth you can’t be done alone. Think
of the success of companies such as Avon or Home Interiors. Their
success is based on two things: great products and excellent
affiliate programs.

To attract affiliates to your company you should make it worth
their time. Offering one percent of sales is not an attractive
offer. The higher the commission you are able to offer your
affiliates, the more affiliates will be tempted to join your
team. You should also provide your affiliates with the tools they
will need to successfully market all of your products, such as
banner ads, articles, and anything else that will help them to
better market the product. You should provide the affiliates with
updated product information through newsletters, new promotional
campaigns and etcetera to motivate and inform the affiliates.

You can choose to run your affiliate program in two different
ways, both of which are beneficial to your business. A one-tier
affiliate program allows you to generally offer a larger
commission and pays on one level. The affiliate will receive a
predetermined amount for each sale. The other, a two-tier
affiliate program, pays affiliates on two different levels. This
is done by allowing affiliates to recruit others to sell under
them. In this situation, the top level affiliate would receive a
slightly larger commission than the recruit or second level
affiliate. For example, if your company pays out 20% on a
particular product, the 1st level would earn 15% and the second
5%.

Setting up the affiliate program can also be done two different
ways. One way is to do it yourself through an affiliate tracking
software. This software will provide you with a way to track
affiliate sales as well as allow the affiliates to view their own
progress. The downside to this option is that you are responsible
for making payments. You can also choose to hire an affiliate
tracking company to do all the work for you. These companies will
allow the use of credit cards and completely run the affiliate
program from billing customers, paying affiliates, and also
paying you. This is a great option for the busy business owner or
the beginning business owner. It is also very affordable, as most
affiliate tracking companies only charge a small one time fee.
However you choose to run your affiliate program, it is sure to
increase profits for your business.

Soulmades - Online Dating For Smart Singles
http://www.soulmades.com.au

I have used and worked for several dating sites, both free and
paid. I know Internet personals from A to Z. And I came to
realize that free dating sites were awfully expensive.

Want to know why?

First, free dating sites attract all types of rubbish: Nigerian
scammers, Russian "mail order brides", and all types of unstable
and wicked people that were banned from quality services. Those
people have too much time on their hands (or it is their full-
time Internet rip-off occupation) and this is why they don't mind
to hang there.

On the other hand, since the website is free, they do not have
much staff on hand to look after it, and check on possible scams.
So scammers are free to go wild there.

Second, free dating sites usually make their revenue from the ads
they show to their members. In other words, they aren't really
interested in you actually FINDING someone on their site: they
would rather have you frustrated and clicking on the ads you see
on their site.

Another venue is selling your email address to mass-mailing
companies, or running mass-mailings themselves. It means you risk
being bombarded with hundreds of commercial emails, day after
day.

Third, I find it appalling that a person cannot find some twenty
bucks to pay for a subscription. As a woman, I want to KNOW that
the guy I am talking to is at least capable of paying his own
rent.

If I were a guy, I would also prefer a woman who is capable of
looking after herself and doesn't think a man is there to provide
for her.

Forth, the software on free sites is often inconvenient and the
customer support sucks. I prefer things that work as they are
supposed to.

Fifth, for a busy person like you and me, filtering through heaps
of bogus profiles can be maddening. My time is valuable. I'd
rather spend it meeting someone for coffee than talking to people
that aren't even real.

On a paid dating site people have invested something in the
process, so they are more serious and don't play games.

Sixth, for all the reasons outlined above, quality people tend to
avoid free dating services. Their time is too valuable. If you
want to meet a quality person, you are unlikely to meet them on
free sites.

All in all, I have realized that using a free dating site is
awfully expensive. I simply cannot afford it. It costs me more in
time and effort, which I could use more productively - like
running a dating coaching session, or writing an article.

I'd rather pay for subscription and have ten times less
frustrations and ten times more results.

What about you?

Autoresponder Etiquette - Simple Guideline for Marketing Success
Copyright © 2005 Dick Pennington
Learn to Win Big
http://www.LearnToWinBig.com/pips.html

Autoresponders are a perfect way to increase traffic to your
site. They can save many valuable hours by automatically
answering emails concerning frequently asked questions about a
service or product or by sending a welcome letter to new members
of your program. There are many ways that autoresponders can help
your business. One of the most important is their ability to
track the effectiveness of your promotions. Since autoresponders
are one of the most popular marketing tools available today, they
are being used by a lot of different kinds of business and
websites. Some of these take advantage of the system to use the
autoresponders in a negative manner. You should be aware of some
of the "Golden Rules" when using autoresponders.

Thou Shalt Not Use an Autoresponder Address When Submitting to
Search Engines.

Since you will most likely submit your site to search engines
such as Google or Yahoo!, directories, classifieds, and free for
all sites, you should be made aware of the fact that these sites
commonly use an autoresponder as well. If you were to use your
autoresponder to contact these companies, their autoresponder
will reply to yours and so on and so on. Thus creating a cycle of
autoresponses that will flood your email box and theirs as well.

Thou Shalt Not Use an Autoresponder to Subscribe to Ezines or
Discussion Forums.

Since most of the time an Ezine will send you updates and new
information regularly, your auto responder will send them a
message each time. In a discussion forum, every person in the
discussion forum will receive your auto response. This can be
irritating and most of the time you will be unsubscribed. It is
often hard for the administrators of the forum or ezine to
determine who is using the autoresponse and therefore it is
simply common courtesy to never use an autoresponer in this
manner.

Thou Shalt Not Use an Autoresponder to Take Advantage Of
Unsuspecting Individuals.

Some very unprofessional companies will use autoresponders to
respond to an automated message when this is done the address in
the "from" field will be automatically subscribed to their
mailing list. This is a extremely un ethical use of
autoresponders and those who do it are in jeopardy of creating a
very negative image of themselves and their company. Rather than
promote their service or business, this usually leads to people
becoming very upset and spreading a negative word about your
company rather than a good one.

The Internet can be a great place to do business and
autoresponders can be an excellent way to save time, however when
used in an unprofessional way, they can lead to frustration and
aggravation for others. Your company will suffer the loss of much
business if you choose to participate in these abusive practices.
The appropriate use of auto responders can generate a large
amount of business, while inappropriate use can drive away that
business.

How to Organize an Efficient Home Office
Copyright © 2005 Jean Hanson, VA Office Solution (TM)
http://www.vaofficesolution.com

I run my business out of my home office, as do my clients and
many of my Ezine readers. When I set up my first home office I
discovered that it's not as easy as plopping my computer on a
makeshift table and buying a few file cabinets. Setting up a
comfortable, functional home office is important to the success
of your business. Many of us spend more time in our office than
we do in other areas of our home (at least I do!), and it can
quickly become frustrating and uncomfortable without the proper
organization and ergonomic tools.

So what can you do to make your office more organized and
efficient?

1. Invest in a comfortable, ergonomic chair. If you spend all day
in your office chair like I do, you've probably already
discovered that after just a couple short hours, your back starts
to ache if you don't have a great chair. Go ahead, spend the
money...your back will thank you!

2. Make efficient use of the space you have. I don't have a very
big office -- it's a 9' x10' spare bedroom. But I've learned to
use all the space I have. The closet, which houses all my office
supplies, is filled with shelves from floor to ceiling. I have an
L-shaped workstation that fills up most of the office, but
everything I need is within close reach.

I have one large file cabinet plus two lateral files for all my
hanging files. Next to my work area on either side are 6 drawers
(3 on each side). These drawers hold everything I need to have
nearby - client files, stapler, pens, and all the all the little
stuff I like to hide in a drawer.

My immediate work area has just what I need to have within easy
reach - computer, printer, calculator, notepad, and phone. I can
reach up above my workspace to grab an envelope or paper to fill
the printer. Reference manuals and my client's books are on the
shelves just above my workspace. To the left are shelves for 3-
ring binders, which hold business files and reports.

3. Stop working in the dark! My office used to have a pathetic
little fixture with two 60 watt soft lights. I do have a bright
light over my computer screen and I even have a window next to my
desk, but it just wasn't enough. I wanted more light! So I
finally found some terrific lights at my local hardware store
that made a HUGE difference. Check out the new "Daylight" energy
saving bulbs. The Daylight bulbs actually simulate natural light
and are much brighter than the regular soft light bulbs.

I also invested in a ceiling fan, which helps with air
circulation in my little office. Not to mention I can fit 4 of
those amazing new bulbs in the light fixture. I'm in bright light
heaven

4. Organize your files. There are many ways to organize your
files, so you need to decide which method works best for you.
Most VA's I've talked to use a color-coded file system, which is
what I do. It's so much easier to find things when they're color-
coded, rather than having a sea of plain green hanging files.

If you have piles of paper on your desk awaiting action, or just
waiting to be filed, then set aside one day (or half-day) a week
to focus on filing and organizing your office. As you go through
your piles, sort into three piles: Toss It - File It - Do It.
Guess what you do with the "Toss It" pile? If the papers have
been there long enough, chances are some of them are no longer
needed. Take the "File It" pile and file the papers in the proper
place. And finally, work your way through the "Do It" pile by
taking action on those items.

Once you're all caught up, you either need to deal with the paper
immediately or continue to schedule time each week so you can
tackle the paper.

Setting up an efficient home office may seem daunting at first,
but you can take it just one step at a time. Before you know it
you'll be prepared for new opportunities that come your way and
ready to meet any challenges head on.

budgets are fixed in stone; how would they go about increasing
sales revenue?

The marketing manager from company “A” might try to convince the
finance department to increase its budget or try to invoke a jolt
of energy into the sales force via pep talks or threats to
increase sales for the upcoming quarter.

This approach, though it might work in the short-term, is
generally very stressful and less predictable in the long-term.
When quotas aren't met everyone usually begins to trade blame
which leads to more frustrations.

Is their another way?

Enter the world where easy innovations are part of the job. They
are simple because just about everyone can innovate with a few
applications of their imagination.

This is the process company “B” uses to thrive.

So where would you go to find examples you could use as models?

There are several sources. You could hop over to amazon.com or
your favorite book store for any number of books on marketing and
business innovation.

For those who would like to get started immediately I have
written a free booklet that provides examples of how these simple
innovations are carried out. The booklet is titled “5 Cost-free
Examples of Marketing and Sales Innovations That Can Increase
Revenues By More Than 20%” and is available at
http://www.UsefulBizTips.com.

Also, I recommend the book “Turn Your Imagination Into Money” by
the late Ray Giles. It’s among the best books on marketing and
sales innovation. It’s available at
http://www.ImaginationBook.com for $29.95.

The resources above will show that the solution to company “A’s”
approach is a commitment to innovation that creates a hassle-free
environment while improving sales.

One might ask, why doesn't company “A” implement this approach?
There are several reasons, such as ignorance of alternatives and
ignorance of the ease with which a simple innovation program can
be implemented.

A marketing manager might state, I know it’s important to
innovate but how do I get my employees to innovate and how much
will it cost in time and real dollars? Other obstacles include
employees who are reluctant to committing themselves to an
innovation program. However, if the right incentives are in place
few would object.

Imagine if the sales manager had to lay off a few workers in a
short while and were to say to them, if you can find a unique way
to improve sales, then the additional revenues would help to
justify to the higher-ups to keep everyone. In fact, this example
was used in Giles book to show how quickly sales rose by 20% when
one sales manager tried this approach. And best of all it didn't
cost much - no money, only a little time. This is the kind of
virtually-cost-free innovation that caused company “B” to excel.

Company “B” excels because it’s committed to an innovations
program and people will take innovation seriously if they realize
that as innovation increases so does sales and so does their
commissions and bonuses.

So company “B” has a successful feedback mechanism where everyone
wins. The company wins with additional revenues, the marketing
manager wins with a bigger bonus, less headache and less pep talk
and the sales force wins with greater commissions.

Over time, company “B” will have well tested and highly optimized
marketing and sales processes that yield great results. Aren't
these the processes that every company wants? They can be
implemented and best of all they are cost-free.

Top Tips For Effective Time Management

Time is a precious, nonrenewable resource. That's why you should
value every moment, hour and day that you have. And just as a
well-run business should carefully develop a strategy for
spending money, an effective business person should carefully
develop a plan for spending time.

To help you use your time as effectively as possible, here are
some time management strategies you can implement to enhance your
efficiency and productivity:

Develop A Time Strategy

The first step in effective time management is not to develop a
schedule, but instead to develop a time strategy. The time
strategy should be based on a short list of time priorities.

Start by identifying the No. 1 way you can most increase profits
by use of your time. Then move onto the No 2 way, the No. 3 way,
etc. This short list of time priorities forms the foundation for
your time planning for every week of the year.

Next, you should focus your efforts. Focus is crucial for
effective time management. And the fewer priorities you focus on
at once, the more productive you will be.

Once you've established your major time priorities for the year,
you should allocate them by week or by month. Like it or not, a
lot of our time each week is going to be eaten up by nonstrategic
items that we have no control over.

Therefore, it is important to limit the number of strategic time
goals we have for each week. So even if you have 10 strategic
time goals for the year, you may want to focus on no more than
one or two of them in any given week.

Set Aside Uninterrupted Time

Every week you should make up a detailed time plan, which you
modify each day as needed. Except in times of crisis, try to make
sure day-to-day issues don't push your strategic time priorities
off your schedule.

Generally, your major strategic time priorities will involve
activities like planning, thinking, and developing ideas. More so
than day-to-day issues, these activities require big blocks of
uninterrupted time.

Constant interruptions can kill any hope of effective time
management. One way to avoid them is to make it clear that when
your door is closed you are not to be disturbed. Another is to
have regular meetings, such as every week, with the people that
you interact with the most and insist on saving non-pressing
issues for these meetings.

Avoid Time Traps

To get the most from your time, be careful to avoid these common
time traps:

  * Spending more time in the offices where the most congenial
people are, as opposed to where the most important issues are.

  * Wasting too much time getting daily updates on routine
activities, instead of waiting for a more meaningful weekly
    summary.

  * Jumping too eagerly into the routine, more straightforward
work and putting off the more complex and difficult work.

  * Not starting the most important work first thing in the
    morning.

  * Failing to make up a schedule for each day.

  * Scheduling each day so tightly that it is impossible to stay
    on track.

A house cleaning schedule is your first step towards an
effortless cleaning of your home. Although each person has his
or her own idea as to what a house cleaning schedule should be
like, it is generally agreed that a systematic and coordinated
approach will produce the best results.

There have been much advice from various professionals as to
how a house cleaning exercise should go about but it will be
best if you keep to your own ways of doing things. Decide which
plan works best for you and keep to it. After all, not all homes
have the same architecture, so obviously cleaning will differ
from home to home.

The first step is to decide on what needs to be done. Begin
with the most difficult and complex job and progress to the
less mundane ones. This way, you would have expended the much
needed energy on the big jobs and by the time you get tired, it
is only left with the small jobs to be done. Another reason why
you should begin with the big job is that, in the event that
something happens or you get tired, then someone will be more
wiling to assist because they will not have much left to do.

Group your activities into manageable parts. For example you
can put your cleaning activities into three categories:
washing, wiping or dusting. This way, you can do all the
activities that involve washing from room to room and then go
to the ones that need wiping. Keeping this kind of schedule
will enable you to work faster and comfortably.

Keep your schedule flexible so that should there be any change
of plan, the schedule will be able to accommodate it easily.
Keeping a household cleaning schedule is your surest way to
accomplish more in less time when it comes to giving your home
a new look.

If New York state seems a little far from the real North Pole,
try getting a little closer to the real thing by visiting North
Pole, Alaska on your Christmas vacation. The Alaskan vacation
package also includes a visit to Santa’s house in the North
Pole. Also offered is an optional dog sled ride through Santa’s
village in the North Pole. Enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience
as you race through the magical North Pole on an authentic
Alaskan dog sled. Like the vacation package in North Pole, New
York, the Alaskan North Pole offers one or two night stays
during weekends.

The Alaskan North Pole Christmas vacation includes hotel
accommodations in nearby Fairbanks and at the Chena Hot Springs
Resort. There is also lodging available at the Santaland RV
Park. The Santa House also offers a large store where guests to
the North Pole can find every type of souvenir from ‘I Believe
in Santa’ hats to ‘Santa Claus Crossing’ signs and refrigerator
magnets. Whether you are two or ninety-two the magic of
Christmas in North Pole, Alaska will have you believing in
Saint Nick.

If you are traveling before or during the Christmas season,
then consider Hershey, Pennsylvania as your vacation
destination. The home of Hershey’s candy, Hershey Park becomes
home to Christmas Candyland, where over one million Christmas
lights are put on display. In addition to the lights, the staff
at Hershey Park constructs a number of animated displays that
are sure to delight both you are your children.

Christmas Candyland is undoubtedly one of the most exciting
Christmas time getaways for kids young and old. In addition to
Christmas Candyland guests can enjoy the rest of the Park.
Hershey Park is a popular destination for travelers year round,
as it offers a wide variety of both entertainment and great
candy. Christmas Candyland typically runs for a month prior to
Christmas.

If your family has never taken a Disney vacation, Christmastime
may be the perfect time to do it. In addition to enjoying the
Walt Disney World parade which is televised each year from
Disney World in Orlando, Florida, your kids will also enjoy
seeing all their favorite Disney characters decked out in their
Santa hats and Christmas outfits. There are also a number of
special Christmas time shows put on in the parks including
Mickey Mouse’s ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas and Belle’s
Enchanted Christmas Storytelling.

These Christmas activities can be great for young children.
Giant Christmas trees are erected throughout the parks and lit
up with thousands of Christmas lights, bringing the spirit of
Christmas alive throughout the already magical Disney World.
The weeks around the Christmas season are also times where
lodging rates at Disney World resorts are typically lower than
the peak season rates.

By traveling during the Christmas season you are likely to get
tons of fun at a reduced price. The weather in central Florida
during the Christmas season is typically in the mid-70s, a
great change of pace if you are used to cold, wintry Christmas
seasons. Santa’s sleigh may have some trouble landing without
snow but the magic of the Christmas season is alive and well at
Disney World.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Life insurance at the present time is very affordable.
Competition in the life insurance market together with the cost
savings that life companies are making by operating on the
Internet has depressed insurance rates, bringing them down to
historic low levels. For a healthy non-smoker in their 20s,
life insurance rates can in fact be as cheap as £5 per month!

However, there are many factors that influence the final
outcome of the life insurance rates for any one individual.
Everything from hereditary diseases to diet will figure and,
depending upon the answers that we give to the insurance
company, will see our life insurance rates climb higher or drop
lower than the average rates for our age.

So, just what factors will affect the insurance rates that a
life company will quote for life insurance? Here is a summary
of the most important elements to consider: -

Age - The younger you are the lower your life insurance rates;
the older you are the higher your insurance rates. Young people
are seen overall as less of a risk to the life insurance company
than older people. This is because the life company simply
anticipates that young people with live longer than older
people over a finite time from the current date forward. As a
result, young people will contribute a higher number of monthly
insurance payments before they die than will older people over
the same timescale.

If you're in your 40s or 50s and lead a very active and healthy
lifestyle this age-bias may seem a little unfair. However, given
that a 25 year-old may clock up more than fifty years of monthly
repayments to reach the age of 75, you on the other hand would
only complete twenty-five to thirty-five years worth of
repayments to reach the same age. When factored in with the
increasing likelihood of death the further we get to our life
expectancy limit - so heightening the risk that life companies
take on paying out - it is quite easy to see why life insurance
rates are bumped up to compensate as we get older.

Smoking - Non-smokers have lower life insurance policy rates
than do smokers. In fact, should a smoker quit and then take
out life insurance they could save as much as 50% on their
insurance rates. If you are thinking of quitting though it is
important to check your life insurance policy, as some insurers
will not reduce the rates if you quit during the life of the
policy, forcing you to change insurance company if you want to
benefit from non-smoker rates.

Pre-existing Health Conditions - Hereditary diseases,
especially those that run through both sides of the family, may
have a significant impact on rates quoted for life insurance.
Also, if you are required to attend a medical and are found to
be less healthy than the 'average' for your age, then insurance
rates are likely to be more expensive.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
Over the past few years, research has continued to prove the
benefits of e-mail marketing for business: low costs, high
conversion rates and detailed tracking are all notable
features. But e-mail marketing is becoming much more than just
a tool for spammers and e-businesses. Consumers are becoming
increasingly savvy on the differences between spam and
permission-based emails, and more and more of them are
accepting permission-based e-mail marketing as a positive
replacement for direct mail.

The best news is that the majority of people who receive
permission-based e-mails open, on average, 78% of them.

Jupiter Research reports effective email marketing campaigns
can produce nine times the revenues and 18 times the profits of
broadcast mailings. But crafting an effective business email is
both an art and a science. Here is a list of factors, potential
problems and effective solutions to keep in mind:

1. Spam! Spam! Spam! I don't need any Viagra!
The average consumer receives more than 300 emails a week, 62%
of which are spam. No wonder there's such hostility towards the
industry. But spam filters, bulk folders and "report spam"
features are helping consumers become more at ease about the
perils of spam. While 89% of users cited spam as a major
concern in 2003, that number dropped to 85% in 2004,
proportionally to an increase in the use of spam-fighting
tools.

So as a permission-based business email marketer, what can you
do? One tip is to remind your subscribers to add you to their
"safe senders" list. The second, and most important, tactic is
to make sure your email marketing service provider has a good
relationship with ISPs. This will ensure that your email
marketing campaigns go into your subscribers' inboxes, not
their junk mail folders. When choosing an email marketing
software, make sure the company has strict anti-spam policies
and complies with the guidelines of Can-Spam.

2. Images and formatting: Why do my emails look broken?
Broken email campaigns are an increasing concern among email
marketers, especially since several companies and web-based
email providers now block graphics as a measure to combat spam.
In fact, according to ClickZ, 40% of email marketing messages
delivered to inboxes are "broken."

So what's the solution? Some email marketing programs publish
all your sent email campaigns to a secure location on the web
(a location only original recipients of the email can access,
thanks to encrypted technology that automatically authenticates
the user). In some programs, the technology also ensures you can
track your users' behaviors, even if they are reading your email
campaign at the secure web location.

3. Personalization and relevant content: In a business e-mail,
one size does not fit all.
In a recent study by DoubleClick, email users were 72% more
likely to respond to a business e-mail if its content was based
on the interests they had specified. That number points out the
absolute importance of allowing users to choose their own
interest groups and have control over which business e-mails
they receive. The most popular interest categories, according
to the study, are coupons and household goods.

But you're coupon is no good unless the user opens the email.
Users in the study said the most compelling reason for them to
open a business email is the name in the "from" field. So it's
a good idea to make sure your company name is clearly stated
there. Another major factor is the "subject" line. Users cite
discount offers and interesting news as the most compelling
subject lines, followed by new product announcements and free
shipping offers.

4. Click-through and conversion: Show me the money!
So the user has opened your email and read the content. Great.
But where's the sale? There's good news here. For one,
consumers are increasingly likely to make purchases as a direct
result of a business email campaign. One-third of users in the
DoubleClick study had purchased something by clicking a link on
an email. Another 42% clicked on an email link for more
information, then purchased the product at a later time.
Second, online couponing is booming: 73% of consumers have
redeemed an online coupon for an online purchase, and 59% have
redeemed an online coupon offline.

In terms of industries, the top performers are travel,
hardware/software, electronics, apparel, food, home
furnishings, gifts/flowers and sporting goods. All companies
sending business emails in those categories said between 71%
and 80% of recipients have purchased their products because of
an email campaign.

There's no need to fret if your company doesn't fit in to one
of those industries. The overall landscape for email marketing
conversions is looking brighter every day. The average
click-to-purchase rate has increased nearly 30% since 2004 and
the average orders-per-email-delivered rate has increased more
than 18% since last year.

5. Stats tracking: Who are my real consumers?
E-mail marketing is an increasingly popular tool in effective
CRM, and it's about time more businesses recognize that. First
off, if your provider's email services for business do not
include detailed, real-time tracking, you're getting a raw
deal. Real-time tracking is now an industry standard, and it's
highly valuable, as it allows you to see the exact moment a
user opens your campaign, clicks on your link and makes that
purchase. Studying your users can help you improve your
communications efforts, so each campaign performs better than
the last (several email service providers also let you compare
the performance of your campaigns).

But many marketers are still in the dark. According to a recent
WebTrends research, only 5% of marketers are very confident in
the measurement of their online marketing efforts, while 26%
admit they're "flying blind." WebTrends says the low confidence
comes from a lack of knowledge when it comes to measurement,
which means there's still a lot of work to be done.

In email marketing, a blind shot won't take you very far. But
if you aim properly by following these essential rules of play,
you should soon be reaping the same major results as so many
online and offline businesses.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
At some point in our driving years I suspect most all of us
have to take defensive driving, whether to get rid of a ticket
or maybe to just lower our insurance. For many years you only
had one option, traffic school. But times and the options have
changed.

Traffic school used to consist of getting up early on a
Saturday morning or spending two nights during the week sitting
in a classroom, listening to a instructor speak in a monotone
voice and watching old 16mm films with 1950’s cars and actors
explaining the right and wrong way to drive a car. Although
that option is probably available if you look for it, these
days defensive driving class has gone high tech.

So what are the choices?

* - Traffic school with a twist: Some of the options you can
choose from if you’re looking for an in-class experience is
humorous traffic school, traffic school with a meal, juggling
and magic defensive driving classes.

* - Online defensive driving: Yes the power of the Internet has
fueled the growth of online defensive driving. Taking the course
online can have its drawbacks, especially if you don’t have
broadband access.

* - DVD or VHS defensive driving: You can rent these at your
local video store and now at least one school, is offering
customers the ability to order the course online, have it
delivered to their door and then keep the dvd or vhs. That’s
right, no returns so of course that means no late fees.

So what's right for you? Well, this article can't answer that
question but you can. You need to consider your schedule, how
quickly your court date is coming, how important taking a class
alone or with people is to you and maybe even what it takes to
keep your head into it.

With these additional choices, taking defensive driving class
should no longer be as big of an inconvenience since with two
of the choices you can take them around your schedule and even
in your underwear if you want.

================== ARTICLE START ==================
There are, as we know, dozens of different ways of getting
traffic to your site(s); some of these methods yield high
quality, targeted traffic whilst others deliver junk traffic
and ensure that the only thing that you’ve achieved is throwing
money down the pan.

With this in mind I’m going to take a look at a couple of the
different methods of getting free traffic to your site(s) and
then I’m going to have a look at how to get paid for getting
free traffic to your site(s) – yes, you can get money for doing
it.

Lets start by having a look at three traditional methods of
getting some traffic:

1. Articles
2. Solo ads
3. Traffic exchange

These three methods are the preferred methods of most
webmasters as they encompass a wide target audience.

Articles.

All of us at some point or another write tutorials of one form
or another (this for example) or perhaps we write a review of
something. Even better, when you’re at university you write
lots of reports as part of your course.

These documents can all be used to bring you some much loved
traffic.

This is achieved by submitting your article to a site such as
iSnare.Com or GoArticles.Com.

How does this work?

Quite simply and without any effort from you.

When you enter your article into these services you also have
opportunity to enter a biography section. This section tells
the reader a little about you and also allows you to list a url
(or two).

The article sites then provide the articles in their database
to other sites – your biography always go with them.

This means that suddenly you have a LOT more sites linking to
your site and it also means that you have a lot more people
(who perhaps wouldn’t normally find your site) visiting via
your biography. You should however ensure that the subject of
the article has some relevancy to your site (if you write about
dogs and your site is about tanks most people who read the
article are not going to be interested in your site).

Solo Ads.

A solo ad is an advertisement that is sent out via email by a
list owner. The price of this service can vary radically and so
can the quality.

Anyone offering a solo ad service will never EVER promise a
response rate (unless it’s a paid to read service).

If you do decide to go down this route there are a few things
you should remember/ask:

a. What is the demographic of the list (who are they? Male, 23
– 34, IT professionals, etc)
b. How big is the list
c. How old is the list
d. How responsive is the list (best and worst cases)
e. Will the owner do a 2 for 1 deal (pay for one mailing,
deliver two)
f. Is there a way of the list owner splitting the delivery
(thus allowing you to test your sales copy)

If you do go this route you should remember that you are
effectively only picking up the customers/subscribers once – so
make sure your copy is good.

You should also remember one golden rule – do not make the
sale, get a subscriber. What a stupid thing to say – I’m trying
to sell something not make friends! Yep, that’s right – but – it
is widely acknowledged that it takes a user 7 views of the same
advert in order to act upon it (this is why some marketers will
send you the same thing rehashed repeatedly for a couple of
weeks). So with this in mind if you send a mailing and don’t
get subscribers you’re effectively blowing your money.

You should also be aware that the size of list has no direct
correlation as to its quality or responsiveness.

Traffic Exchanges.

As the title suggests you’re swapping traffic, this usually
means that you surf a selection of other members sites and in
return you get your site added to the rotation so that some of
them see your site.

The quality of traffic is sometimes quite poor from this source
as a number of people are not really interested in seeing your
site – they just want you to see theirs.

So where does the making money from traffic exchanges come in?

Well, simply put, there are a new type of traffic exchange
services starting who offer both a free and paid membership,
the free service allows you to surf and acquire credits which
you can use to buy visitors and then there’s the paid member
option (normally referred to as ‘pro membership’). With both
the free and pro membership levels you still need to surf the
site daily but there are a couple of things different:

a. Both membership types display a slide show of other sites
for you to surf
b. Both membership types require no intervention (no clicking -
just watching)
c. The pro membership pays you money!

Yep, as promised there it is – you can get paid to surf a small
selection of sites a day with no action required on your part.

So how does that work and are we talking about pennies here?

Most important question first, no we are not talking about
pennies (unless that’s all you’ve paid for). These sites
normally pay you a percentage of your membership fee as your
daily surfing fee, so my favourite site pays me 12% per day
over 12 days (this means I make a profit of 44% every 12 days).

So in real terms, I can choose my investment level, so here’s
what it looks like:

Pro membership $120$6$500$1000
Percent per day12%12%12%12%
Cash per day$14.40$.72$60$120
Membership term12 days12 days12 days12 days
Total Cash back$172.80$8.64$720$1440

As I said the membership level is completely at your taste. But
there’s more. You not only earn your own money and surfing
credits but that of affiliates – so for example if you have a
couple of affiliates then potentially you’re earning 10% or
everything they pay in/surf and also 2.5% of whatever their
affiliates do (so a two tier affiliate system).

The affiliate commissions vary but usually they are at least
two tiers. The one I recommend is 12Daily, the url is
http://www.12dailypro.com/?ref=62998 – complete with my
affiliate ID (quid pro quo!).

Choosing Happiness

Inspire Possibility
http://www.inspirepossibility.com/

Many people have been saying that this era is different and that
we have more to worry about than past generations. While it is
true that we have major concerns that are unique to us at this
time, past generations also had their share of unique challenges.
No matter what our challenges are, the decisions and choices we
make on a day to day basis determine our ability to be happy.
Happiness is a choice and is not dependent on future events and
circumstances. Now is the perfect time to be happy.

Recently at my daughter Makaelas graduation from high school I
was reminded of this truth. I reflected upon my own journey since
high school. I remember how anxious I was to get away from home
and begin college even though it was just across the bay in
Berkeley. I believed college would be the answer to my problems
and it was for a brief period of time. But soon I started to
experience the same disenchantment and longing that I had
experienced in high school.

My focus again shifted to the future which was getting into law
school. Of course once in law school my new focus was graduating
and passing the bar so "real life" would begin. And what I called
"real life" began... I was out of school, making my own money and
involved in an intense love affair.

There's no question I was excited when I began my career as an
attorney. I was using the legal system as a vehicle of change to
fulfill my mission of changing the world. After a while financial
realities set in and I began to struggle in business and in love.
My mindset was that when business picked up and when I met "the
one" I could start to enjoy life again. My concerns about the
future clouded my ability to enjoy the present.

I was repeating the familiar pattern of making an unknown future
better than the present. For many of us this is a never ending
pattern.

I've always been a firm believer in synchronicity...those chance
encounters that change your life...those remarkable meetings.
Many years ago a friend told me of a magical swimming hole along
a river in Humboldt County. Off I went with my guitar, my dog and
sleeping bag; I drove North arriving at the river just as the sun
was setting. In the morning I awoke at the crack of dawn in
search of the swimming hole. As I continued my journey I barely
noticed a few campsites along the river until a camper offered me
some food and coffee. Although I found myself getting hungry and
tired I said no thanks to the kind invitation--I just wanted to
get to that swimming hole. After another twenty yards I turned
around and said "that coffee sounds good." It was what the camper
said in the next few moments that has perhaps made the greatest
impact in my life.

"Say man, the journey you take is probably more important than
your destination. Enjoy yourself. Enjoy the journey." From that
moment on I did. I enjoyed my breakfast, enjoyed the rest of the
hike and of course the swimming hole was fabulous.

I can honestly say it was that experience which transformed my
ability to enjoy the present moment.

Shifting your paradigm about the future will change your life.
Instead of waiting to arrive at your destination before you begin
to enjoy your vacation, enjoy packing and the trip to the
airport. Instead of waiting for that big opportunity or break to
occur, enjoy exactly what you're doing. Instead of accumulating
more, enjoy what you have. Instead of feeling despair about
finding meaning and purpose in your life, enjoy the inquiry.
Instead of waiting for that ideal relationship to happen, enjoy
life exactly as it is.

Hopefully you are inspired. Let me know what you discover and I
love receiving your many responses and feedback. Thank you and
keep them coming. Feel free to pass this letter on to the friends
in your circle and let them know about the advantages of being on
the journey. And as my friend Roy says enjoy the ride.

Journey On

"A new baby brings a lot of joy and hope to a family. It also
brings some uncertainty. You may be concerned that your home is
too small, or that you need a larger car, among others. Whether
you are expecting your first or your fifth child, chances are
that you need baby gear! There are hundreds of different items
that you need when the baby arrives, and it is important to
remember that stocking up doesn’t mean you have to clean out
the bank account. If you do a little bit of research
beforehand, you can get everything that you need at a fraction
of the retail price. My favorite money saving tool is the
e-coupon. You can sign up for e-coupons at a variety of
different retailers, and start savings instantly.

The first question that a new parent-to-be asks is “what gear
do I need?” There are many things that are convenient to have,
and many things that are a “must have.” Once you distinguish
between the two, you can start stocking up on the “must haves”.
I recommend that you start shopping for bargains early on in
your pregnancy. You will save more money, and eliminate the
last minute rush that many parents undergo. Most baby sites
will provide you with a checklist of the baby “must haves.”
Print this list out, and then begin to compare prices and makes
and models.

Every parent-to-be is on a budget. The trick is to make the
most out of that budget. First consider looking at local yard
sales for various baby gear. You can often get some cheap
deals, on things that are in good shape. If you are looking for
some really good deals, go online. There are hundreds of
different baby sites, which offer many products at deep
discounts. If you use an e-coupon service, you can get coupon
codes to save even more on the items that are “must haves.”
Most of these services are free to use, and can save you
hundreds on your favorite baby gear. You may also try an
auction site like EBay. I have found some great deals on items
that you need everyday, like bottles and bibs.

Shopping for baby on a budget can be a lot of fun, if you
approach it correctly. Create a list of the items that you want
to shop for, and stick to it. Look for discounts and deals both
locally and online. In no time, you will have a nursery full of
baby gear ready and waiting for your new little bundle of joy!
Congratulations and happy shopping!"

get that extra discount! With a new baby, you need it.

Gone are the days when women stuck to one color blusher usually
pinks or peaches. Now days, blushers come in a whole new variety
of colors and different formulations. There are vast array of
clever new formulas. The main choices are traditional powder, a
cream texture, a modern liquid or a gel finish. So there is
certainly one out there to suit your skin type.

Powder blush is the easiest to use. If you prefer this type,
choose one that isn't too sparkly or it'll enhance your
wrinkles. Shimmery blushers are far kinder to mature skin as
they diffuse fine lines, making the delicate skin around your
cheeks look younger. And as your skin feels drier as you get
older, you could also try moisturizing cream formula that gives
a flattering sheen to your skin.

All Skin Types

Right type: LIQUID CHEEK STAINS
Reason: They're excellent for all skin types and face shapes,
as you can use a little to achieve a natural flush of color, or
layer to build up the shading to an intense hue that will last
all through the day.

How to apply: They work best on bare cheeks and need to be
applied quickly to avoid mistakes. Apply powder blusher over
cheek stains for ultimate staying powder.

Dry or Combination Skin

Right type: CREAM
Reason: Cream blusher is the best if you have dry to
combination skin as there's no powder to sit on your dry
patches. Also, the texture helps your skin maintain a natural ,
luminous glow.
How to apply: It's easy to apply on bare skin or over
foundation. If you have a round face don't shade apples of your
cheek instead apply it on your cheekbones, slanting towards your
temples.

Oily Skin

Right type: POWDER
Reason: It's classic, and perfect for achieving dense color
coverage. It's the best texture for contouring your cheekbones,
and is ideal for oily skin as it lies well on your skin's
surface and reduces shine.

How to apply: Sweep on to your cheeks in a croissant shape for
a natural - looking flush.

Mature Skin

Right type: GEL OR MOUSSE
Reason: Mousse and gel formulas are great for mature skins and
if you want a subtle result. They can be worn alone on bare
skin or layered over foundation, before powder, and are less
fiddy to use than liquid stains. All mousse formulas offer
pretty velvety finish and are really smooth to apply.

How to apply: When putting on gel or mousse blusher, tap it
gently on to your cheeks and blend upwards and outwards with
your fingertips. But don't apply it on top of your make- up as
you will not be able to blend it.

As more and more people are becoming comfortable using their
computers at school, home or in the office it’s only a matter
of time before they encounter a computer virus. Here are our
top 10 steps to protect you from computer viruses.

Use a high quality anti-virus program. There are many different
anti-virus computers programs on the market some of them are
better than others. Look to reputable computer magazines or
websites for ratings to help you find the one that matches your
needs.

Always use your anti-virus software. Make sure your anti-virus
software is always turned on and scanning, incoming and
outgoing email messages, and any software programs you run.

Keep your antivirus programs up to date. Most programs come
with a yearly subscription make sure you take advantage of the
updates. More advanced programs allow you to schedule updates
or full system scans for “off hours” like 2AM when you aren’t
likely to be using your computer.

Keep your computer up to date. From time to time operating
systems fall victim to security holes or issue updates. Make
sure you check periodically to make sure you are running stable
up to date versions of your software.

Backup your data regularly. Most windows computer users keep
their documents in the “My documents” folder. This makes it
easy to back up all of your important documents. Make weekly or
monthly copies to CD or USB drives.

If you use floppy disks or USB drives on public computers like
your school computer lab, Kinko’s, or even digital photo
printing store make sure you scan them for viruses. Public
computers are notorious for not being up to date and properly
protected.

Be wary of email attachments. Treat any email attachment as
potentially dangerous. Never open attachments from people you
weren’t expecting. Also be careful of attachments from people
you know but weren’t expecting. Many computer viruses replicate
themselves by reading the contacts from an infected computer.

Use text email if possible. While HTML email is prettier and
allows you more control over formatting it also can carry
computer viruses. If you use text based email the only way to
get a virus is by opening an attachment.

Use downloaded freeware and shareware files or software with
caution. Try to download them from popular reputable sources
that scan the programs before they are uploaded. To make sure
you are safe scan the program before you install it on your
computer.

Be wary of links in IM or instant messaging software. Don’t
accept invitations from people you don’t know and never click a
link from someone you don’t trust, they can easily redirect you
to another website that will try to install a virus on your
computer system.
