Position Description: Web Application Developer

Responsibilities • Report to Director of Software Development
• Actively contributing to coding of web applications
• Collaborating with application development staff on integration
of web applications with the services layer
• Actively participate in requirements analysis and design of web
applications
• Contributing to estimating efforts and to project planning
Required Experiences and Skills • 3+ years experience with full
lifecycle software development from conception through to maintenance
activities
• Excellent skills in ASP.NET/C# programming
• Excellent skills in JavaScript
• Experience in building Ajax enabled applications in ASP.NET
• Thorough understanding of web application architecture
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality, easily maintainable
code in a production software environment
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills
Beneficial Experiences and Skills • Experience with creating
ASP.NET User Controls and Custom Controls
• Experience with Telerik RAD Controls for ASP.NET
• Experience with industry standard JavaScript libraries such as jQuery
• Experience with one or more Web CMS products
• Experience with designing user interfaces for the Web
• Experience or skills in user experience design or other user
centric design methodologies
• Experience with building applications that consume .NET Remoting
and Web Services
• Experience with industry standard development processes
• Experience with Agile development processes
• Experience with using a standard software version control system
