My partner just got a job with a company in Portland, Oregon (it's a
bout 33hrs NW of Austin, just above Calif) and while the company is
willing to help us out with the move somewhat, we could really use
someone to either drive us in their car or help us with renting one
(I don't drive and my partner's license is suspended at the moment).

In return we could give you most of our furnishings as we are not
really able to take them with us, we'd have about a trunk full of
stuff to take with us (our clothes a box or two and our computer) to
fit in the car. The rest we'd need to get rid of anyway, currently we
have:

. a gently used (we bought it new and paid $800 for it) Queen sized
pillow top bed (matress, boxspring & frame)

. a gently used microwave (we bought it new for $80)

. various chairs (3 office chairs, 2 metal chairs, 4 wooden chairs)

. a fairly heavy metal accounting desk we use as our computer desk

. a smaller single table that we use for the other computer

. various dishware (mostly in good condition) plates, cups, bowls,
brand new fork/spoon/butter knife set, cooking pots & pans and so on

. an old writting desk with a flip out writting station

. a dinning table with a leaf in it that needs some work (one of the
legs keeps comming off but we have wood glue if you need it)

. Possibly various cat stuff (if we have to find new homes for our
two cats and they don't want it)

. a 16 inch semi-old TV (it's still got plenty of life in it)

. a small-ish TV stand (has section for DVDs & VHS

. a floor lamp that folds into three parts for easy moving

. 2 well loved bean bags (could combine into one larger one if needed)

. a couple of spare computer parts an various other small-ish stuff
like cleaning supplies we're not taking and the like.

If you'd like to see any of these items in person and/or pictures (I
have a digital camera I can use) please feel free to ask.
Take care
