Almost all of us who are working in Banks feel that getting less
numbers of days as holidays than those working in Central/State/
Undertakings is not fair. In our state (Mizoram) we have taken this
matter up with the State Government that the Banks should also have
the same number of holidays as those working in the State Government
Departments/undertakings. Members may like to start a
debate/discussion on this. I would be
happy to receive suggestions/help in trying to convince the
Government to grant us more holidays for the next year (2003)
